Winterfire: I could say the same thing about you X-men. What's the purpose of having two bases, one in New York and another here? However, even if I told you, it doesn't really matter any more.
(Sara looked away from Liz. She was avoiding the question, but with good reason. She let her hands sink into hands as she reviewed the situation in her head, before explaining it to Liz. Once she was done thinking, she removed her hands and looked back at Liz.)
Winterfire: Yes, we have another base in Europe and many others around the world. The size of them range from large complex structures to small safe houses. Each base has a computer link to the main base in LA. That way, any agent can report important information that they may find and send it to us at any given time. Now that the base in LA is under control of the authorities, they have access to all of those computer links. I fear that it won't be long before the governments of the world know of their locations and seek the proper action against us. That's why I find it pointless in telling you where they are.

"To tell you ze truth, ze mansion vas an abandoned out post from the original X-men. Our only tie to zem ist zrough our members who vere vonce X-men." Liz was getting annoyed and fast. She truly was hoping to be able to take out some stress on the blond, but her own values prohibited her from touching the girl unless Sara provoked her. Liz stepped back into the shadows, "Vhat vill your fazer do vhen he finds out you've been captured?"

(Sara looked down at the table. She actually had to think of this question for a second. Before Jack came to fight her, she sent an email to Count, telling him that she didn't know if she was going to live or die. She closed her eyes and continued thinking. After much silence, she looked up and reopened her eyes.)
Winterfire: I'm not even sure if he knows I'm alive. However, he's good at what he does and chances are, he'll figure out that I am indeed still among the living. I'm pretty sure he has no clue where I am. However, that won't stop Count from looking for me and he will eventually be successful.
(Sara focused on one spot of the darkness in front of her. That famous grin of hers was exposed on her face, from cheek to cheek. The look on her smile showed what Count would do when he found he. He would kill every single person that was responsible for her capture.)

Liz stepped back, now fully in the shadows. She grinned as well, her white fangs the only other part visible aside from her eyes. She was interested in the man Sara called father. The teleporter cleared her throat, "I've met your father und his vork. He did quite a number on a senior member at ze Xavier mansion. His mental powers are razer veak zough. Easy to over come. His shadowmelding... it is similar to my teleportation. Do you know how it vorks?"

(Sara looked down again as she began thinking about how Count's powers worked.)
Winterfire: The way his teleportation works, is that he manipulates nearby shadows by creating a sort of portal within it. He can use these portals to enter the very darkness. From there he can exit out of another portal. Count's ability to teleport is only a small extension of his true powers. He can create weapons and structures purely out of darkness. I don't even know the full extent of his powers. I would like to believe that there's really no end to what he can do. But I do know this, his capacity to reach newer heights is only limited by his imagination.

Liz narrowed her blood red eyes. She would have to talk to Jack about that later. After all, the male telepath used to work for the evil man... She shook her head. No... Jack would never think of being a double agent...would he? The teleporter pushed the horrid thought from her mind and re-focused on Sara. She ran her fingers through her short black hair, "So his powers are dependent on darkness... interesting. So to say, you fazer is powerless in a completely lit area vith no shadow?"

(Upon hearing Liz's question, Sara's eyes widened with anger. She quickly closed her eyes as if to hide how she was feeling. This was where she was going to draw the line. Sara wasn't going to let Liz know. Suddenly, a strange feeling over came Sara. As if a part of her felt like telling Liz. She bit her lips as hard as she could. She let out a sigh, as she finally gave into her emotions.)
Winterfire: Yes, you could say that, but I'm not going to get into that subject.

Liz's smirk reappeared. It seemed as though she had touched a nerve. The telepath stepped forward a few steps, "Und vhy not? I see no harm in it." Perhaps she would get her fun after all.

(Sara could see the sudden interest in Liz's face.
Winterfire: You may not see the harm in it, but I do. I'm not going to reveal any of Count's weaknesses. I think I've revealed enough information to you.
(Sara kept her emotions at a low level through Liz's interrogation. However, now her anger was slowly starting to show.)

Liz's smile widened as she popped her face out of the darkness. She walked the perimeter of the light, staying half way in darkness. As she came close to Sara she spoke again, "Oh but you have only just begun. By ze time I'm zrough, I'll know everzing." The demon-like mutant licked her lips and laughed, "After all... I now know zat light veakens him. But how much? Vould it kill him?"

Winterfire: If you think light would kill him, then you have truly underestimated him. Trust me when I say this, you do not want to fight him! He is willing to go far to achieve whatever he wants. Even farther than I would dare to go and that's saying a lot.

Liz looked down at the girl, "Oh... but you see, ve have already challenged each ozer. He took over ze mind of an old friend. I managed to drive him out, but ve have an understanding to fight vonce more. I vant ze upper hand." She walked around to the front of the table and leaned over it to look at Sara better, "I will your father and I will like it." Her accent was gone.

(Sara's eyes widened when Liz spoke of fighting her father. It wasn't the context of the statement, but how she said it. As if her words weren't her own.)
Winterfire: Now why is your German accent gone all of a sudden?

Liz smirked, "You aren't as dumb as you look, though you look pretty dumb. It goes away when Master wants his fun." Liz walked slowly over to Sara and leaned in close again, "And he wants to have some fun with you."

(Sara looked at Liz with confusion. She placed her hands together, but in a way so that only the tips of her fingers were touching each other. Sara was not afraid of what Liz was saying. In fact, she was actually more curious than fearful about the person Liz mentioned.)
Winterfire: Who is this "Master" of yours?
