The duo was lifted to the other side of the staircase. Jack followed right behind them.
Boom: Well I guess this works. He said when his feet touched the floor.
Jade: Hurry, we gotta make sure if Data is ok. I don't know if he can handle a sentinel himself. She said. She had never seen him fight so she didn't what he was capable of.
Jade took the led and began to run forward.
Meanwhile Data was about to open the door when he was attacked. He didn't have anytime to react. The blast was to powerful and knocked him out instantly.

(Sara watched as Jack and the two other mutants continued running toward the final floor. A few moment later, they finally reached the top. They turned to the direction of the hallway that would lead them to Sara's office, when suddenly they stumbled upon the motionless man in the robot suit. The three ran over to the man to help him. Sara smiled evilly as she pressed a button on her desk.)

(The weight of the man's suit was enormous. Jack had to use his telekinesis to lift the man and place him against the wall. He watched as the woman and the boy walked over to check on him. Jack waited for them.)
Mindcontrol: Is he alive?
(Suddenly the group heard the sound of large mechanisms. Jack turned to where the sound was coming from. Coming down from the ceiling was a metal blast wall, ready to barricade the group away from the hallway. Jack glanced at the two mutants, before turning to the lowering wall. Jack broke into a run toward the blast wall. He jumped forward and rolled underneath it, before it closed. He stood up and prepared to fire a telekinetic blast at the wall, when he heard Sara's voice on the intercom.)
Winterfire: Don't even try, that wall is made of fifty percent adamantium. I wouldn't waste your energy if I were you.
(Sara had an almost playful tone of voice. Jack let out a deep sigh, as he turned to the hallway. Jack's eyes began to glow bright blue in the darkness as he walked toward Sara's office.)

(Jack had finally reached Sara's office. He wiped away the sweat that was building up on the tips of his fingers. Jack extended his hand forward and fired a telekinetic blast at the door. The door was ripped off its hinges and it flung inside the office, landing a few feet away from Sara's desk. Jack walked inside the room. Sara was sitting on her big chair like a business tycoon doing his everyday work. Jack starred at Sara with an emotionless expression on his face.)
Mindcontrol: You're coming with me Sara. Come quietly and neither of us have to get hurt.
Winterfire: I wish it was that easy, but its too late for that.
(Sara stood up and Jack took a defensive stance against her.)
Winterfire: Its been years since you were here. Kinda takes you back to the old days. Do you ever feel like you are always looking for answers, but when you find them it only leads to more questions?
Mindcontrol: Dammit Sara, don't change the subject. You're under arrest for crimes against humanity.
Winterfire: Do you want to why your parents were murdered?
(The question came out of no where and it hit Jack like a ton of bricks. He maintained his defensive position and continued glaring at Sara.)
Mindcontrol: What are you talking about?
Winterfire: Do you really know who killed your parents?
Mindcontrol: Count told me that the man was a rival enemy of the Sovereigns. That's the whole purpose of why I joined the Sovereigns, so they would help me get revenge on that man. You and I killed him years ago, what does it matter now!
(She had that evil red smile on her face. Nothing about her infamous smile was a sign of anything good.)
Winterfire: That was not an enemy of the Sovereigns, he was a mutant hitman. He was sent to kill your parents by none other than Count himself.
(Sara said the words slowly and clearly. Jack stood there, he almost forgot the purpose of why he had come to Sara's office. She slowly began to walk around her desk and toward Jack. He couldn't sense any intentions of Sara attacking him, yet.)
Mindcontrol: What are you talking about!?
Winterfire: You see about twelve years ago, Count had a vision that all his plans would one day come to fruition. He envisioned that the world would be ruled under his hand. However, part of the vision was of you helping Count achieve this level of power. So he hired that hitman to kill your parents, but ordered to leave you perfectly unharmed. So in a way, Count killed your parents.
(She was slowly getting closer toward Jack, standing only a few feet away. Jack still wasn't sensing any signs that Sara would attack him, but everything she was saying was taking a toll on him.)
Winterfire: Once you parents were dead, Count came into the picture and took you under his wing. You already know the rest of the story up to this point in time. What do you think Jackie? How do you feel that your very existence has already been decided for you? You will become part of the Sovereigns once more!!
Mindcontrol: NO!!!
(The glow in Jack's eyes intensified, as he pushed both his arms forward, send a telekinetic blast at Sara. It was not only powerful enough to knock her into the air, but also the desk behind her. The desk and Sara smashed through the window, sending debris in all directions. Sara used her fire from her feet and hands to maintain flight. She looked down as her desk crashed on one of the police cars. Sara placed her shoes together and unleashed more fire, allowing her to fly back to her office.)
Winterfire: If that is your decision, then I shall be the one to end you!
(Sara did a spin as she landed in her office, this propelled all the fire at Jack.)

Kitty, Christina, and Keiy left the X-jet and walked towards the Sovereigns' building. Kitty could notice the destruction that took place outside and could see signs of the fight still going on inside. Lockheed shifted uneasily on Kitty's shoulder while Kitty tried to project her thoughts to Jack.
Jack, we're here... Where are you?

(Jack placed his hands forward and blocked the fire with a psychic shield. The room was filled with smoke, which Jack cleared it with a movement of hand. Sara began charging her lightning by making a circular motion with her hands. She then pointed her hands at Jack and fired lightning at him. Jack used his telekinesis to hold the lightning away from him. This collision of two powers created a perfect equilibrium, the two were now an a deadlock. Bolts of lightning were flying in every direction in the room, causing the security monitors to obliterate. Jack knew Sara had more energy than him, it wouldn't be long before she over powered him. He suddenly received Kitty's mental connection. His eyes gave a hint of hope.)
Mindcontrol: I'm on the last floor holding off Sara! There's a blastwall blocking the others from getting to me. Make your way to the top and phase that wall. Hurry I don't think I can hold her for long!
(Sara instantly read that change of emotion in Jack's eyes and saw it as an opportunity to hit harder. She let a scream and she increased the power of her lightning. This was enough to overpower Jack. The lightning struck him and he was pushed back, slamming against the wall. Jack was breathing heavily, he looked over at Sara. She was calm and confident, ready for more.)

Kitty turned around and faced the others. Keiy still appeared to be suffering from fatique.
Shadowcat: Okay, this is it. Keiy, are you sure you'll be okay in this?

Keiy's head was spinning. Shaking his head free of the vertigo, he looked up at Kitty and muttered,"Would you rather me... just guard the jet?"

Shadowcat: I would, rather than having you risk yourself if you're still recovering. Winterfire is not someone who will go down easy. Christina, stay with him. If Winterfire somehow gets away from us, go after her. Keep Lockheed with you as a way to keep in contact with me. Now Jack needs help so I have to go.
Lockheed, go to Christina.
The small dragon groaned as he flew from his master's shoulder and unto the young woman's shoulders. Kitty then turned around and rushed into the Sovereign building, making her way to the top floor.

Keiy bowed his head before Kitty took off. " I am sorry for keeping you from the fight..." The tattooed man said. He hung his head and added, "But I am glad... That you are here... Not sure that I would last long in a fight... Not in this shape."

Christina: No problem. And to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to this fight either. I didn't want to meet up with her again.
Christina snared at the reference to Winterfire from their encounter where she kidnapped Christina and used her powers to almost destroy the United Nations building.

"Sounds... Sounds like you have a raw past with... Who is she?" Keiy said as he turned and headed back into the jet. "And how much blood did I loose? Cause I... I feel faint..." His head was spinning really badly right now.

(Jack lifted the door that he had brought down earlier and sent it flying toward Sara. She span one of her feet in a circle, generating fire on that foot. She then destroyed the flying door with her fire kick. With the remaining fire on her feet, she used it to strike Jack. He placed a psychic shield in front of him, but it did no good. Her attack sent Jack into the hallway. Sara ran in the hallway after him and shot a blast of fire at him. Jack fired a telekinetic blast toward the ground. The force of the blast lifted him into the air, high enough to dodged the oncoming blue fire. As the fire passed him, he felt the extreme heat softly touch his body. While still in the air, Jack fired a telekinetic blast at Sara. It hit her with full force and she flew back into the office. At this point, the blue fire finally stuck the wall in the end of the hall, sending smoke in all directions. Sara got back on her feet and looked toward the hall. The hall was filled with thick smoke and dust with Jack still inside. This gave Sara an idea. She took a deep breath and started sending more fire into the hallway without stopping. The more fire she filled the hall, the more difficult it made it for Jack to breath.)
Winterfire: You can't stay in there forever! Sooner or later you have to come out for some fresh air!
(Ironically, she stopped a moment to take a breath. It took a lot of air to sustain that large amount of fire. Jack sensed that Sara had momentarily stopped firing. This gave him the opportunity to fire a telekinetic blast at the girl. The blast struck her and she was sent flying back out the window. Jack walked into the room, his body was entirely covered in smoke and ash. He placed his hand on his hair and removed some of it, while coughing painfully. Meanwhile, Sara used her fire from her feet and hands to lift herself into the air once again.)

Christina noticed Keiy beginning to stumble due to dizziness and helped him the rest of the way up to the jet. She helped him sit back in a chair to keep him off his feet and she sat across from him. Lockheed descended from her shoulder and rested on the armrest as Christina answered Keiy's question.
Christina: Her name is Winterfire, and some time ago she kidnapped me and used my powers against my will to almost destroy the U.N. So yeah, there is some bad blood between us, but then again mine's not as bad as it is between her and Jack.
It was then Christina noticed that Keiy's face still seem a bit pale.
Christina: So how are you feeling? You need anything?

Kitty ran nonstop up to the upper floors. Along the way she noticed the damages of the previous fights that have occupied that space. It wasn't until she got to the highest floor that she noticed these machines about the size of an adult man, but their make were fairly similar to the enormous Sentinels. But Kitty decided to investigate these things later. First things first, help Jack finally end this battle with Winterfire. She found the blastwall Jack told her about with three people right outside of it. Kitty didn't know whether to suspect that these people were Sovereigns or allies. With a hesitance to continue forward, she questioned them.
Shadowcat: Who are you?
