(The doll threw a punch at the girl's face. The strength of the punch knocked her off her stance. It then reached its hands toward her neck to strangle the life out of her. The little girl's sinister eyes stared as its doll was overpowering the girl. In the midst of this, the mime jumped back on its feet and turned to Jack. It pulled out two knives and threw them at him. Jack dodged the knives by jumping out of the way and landing on his knee. He looked at the ground and noticed some of the mime's knives. He used his telekinesis to lift a knife from the ground and focused it in between his mandible and neck, killing him instantly. Meanwhile, the alligator man smashed against the wall from Jack's telekinetic blast. This left a massive dent of the wall. The alligator man stood up and shook his head to clear off the pain in his head. He then grabbed a metal bar that was lying on the ground and smacked it on the back of Avriletta's head.)

Pavati's face was oddly blank as she faced the giant doll. She really wasn't sure what to make of it. She could sense moisture in the killer play toy, buy it wasn't enough for her to take control of it or even to really destroy it. However, she quickly figured out that she had to kill the little girl to take out the doll. She took a few steps back and reached of the jug of acid. She didn't like to use it all that often because even holding it in the air above her hands could cause damage to that hand. She took a small bit of it and threw it in a slashing motion toward the legs of the doll. It hit its target as well as landed not two feet away from the little girl. Moments later, the acid started to eat away at the material that made the toy's legs. What surprised Pavati is that the process wasn't as fast as she had thought it was going to be. She looked up and saw that once again, there were fixtures for the sprinkler system, but this time, she was almost positive that it wasn't going to work thanks to her little stunt several floors below. As the acid continuted to slow down the doll's progression towards the dark girl, she reached for the container that held her normal water. She removed a large amount from the jug and stretched it out, making the edges razor sharp. She threw it at the doll like knives leaving deep gashed all over it, including in its eyes and throat.

Avriletta ducked intime to catch Garfaxy's arm and twist it
"Bitch!" he wrenched his arm away and grabbed a wing. The pipe was the used to beat avriletta's wing.
"Traitor!" Avriletta screamed and ripped at Garfaxy, foresaking trainings and teaching, relying only on animal instinct, "What made you decide this was right?! What made u decide to betray every one?!" her hands were at his throat and his were attemptin to claw her.

(Vertigo watched as Jack killed one of the Sovereign agents. He really didn't seem surprised by the outcome, as if he already knew the mime was going to die. He turned and looked at the other mutants, knowing it wouldn't be long before the others met the same fate. Vertigo turned to one of the Sentinel Advances.)
Vertigo: Sentinel Advance number 001, I you are ordered to kill that man!
Sentinel Advance: Yes sir.
(After accepting Vertigo's order, the Sentinel began running toward Jack. It activated its rocket boots, allowing it to fly across the room toward Jack. The speed of the Sentinel was extraordinary. The Sentinel landed with a pounding force, its hands and knees on the ground. This force sent a groundquake in all directions. The Sentinel landed closest to Jack, so he ultimately felt the full intensity of the groundquake. He was sent flying toward the 31st stairs. Jack was able to prevent that crash by using his telekinesis to maintain his body in midair. He began to descend down to the ground. Jack looked at his hands and they began to glow blue. He placed a coating of psychic energy around his hands, like psychic boxing gloves. This increased the strength of his hands and in the same time, protected them. After the events at Egypt, in honor of the memory of his old teammate Starr, Jack learned to recreated her technique. He charged toward the Sentinel, and threw a punch at its face, followed by a telekinetic blast. Some of the Sentinel's realistic human skin was removed by Jack's punch, revealing the shiny metal underneath. The Sentinel rose its hand and fired a laser beam from its palm. Jack dodged it with ease.)

Data: Do we go in through the front? Data shouted in the robotic voice as they pulled up to the building.
Jade: No. She began to say as she looked at the cop cars parked outside of it. There's no point in hiding in a building this big if your going to be in the first few floors.
Boom: Well, where do we go in from? The youngest one asked the group.
Jade's muscles began to tighten up as she began to activate her superhuman strength. Normally Jade would avoid going into this mode because once her muscle mass drops back down she won't be able to go back into this mode for a few hours. However, Jade's mind was already at its limit from the amount of power she had used earlier that this was all she is able to do right now. Data noticed the weight change, and turned the boot boosters up so that they can stay in the air.
Jade: Data, throw me over there. She said and pointed to a part of the building with her free hand.
Data didn't know what Jade planned on doing but he didn't question her. He spun in the air and then pushed Jade forward to the part of the building that she pointed at. Jade flew through the air and as she approached the building she pulled her arm back and then flung it forward to make contact with it. The building's way crashed down. Jade rolled on the ground and then stood up. Data and Boom flew through the hole in the building and the both landed on the floor.
The three scanned the room and noticed the damage that was already done to it. There were bodies laid all over the grown. It sort of look like a trail leading up the staircase.
Jade: Come on.
The three run up the staircase only to find a other staircase. This time it was destroyed and they were forced to find a other way through.
Boom: How many more floors do we go to go through? The moment Boom asked the question he noticed a door with a red light above it.
Jade walked over to the door as she popped her fingers. Right when she was about the punch the door down Data spoke up.
Data: Wait, you don't know what would happen if you don't use the password. As he said this he walked over to the keypad and placed his hand on it. Data entered the security system and turned it off. The light then changed from red to green.
Data pushed the door open allowing Boom and Jade to go in first. As they walked through the hallway they quickly noticed the enormous battlefield. Jade scanned the area and quickly noticed the sentinel that was fighting. At first glance it seemed like a human but she saw the spot were the 'skin' was missing. She also noticed the other mutants around that were apparently on the same side as the trio.
Boom: Battle plan? Boom asked and looked at Jade.
Jade: Stick together and let the others handle themselves. We'll climb that staircase. There has to be something there that Data can connect to that is connected to the sentinels.
Boom: And what about that chick that killed John? Do you see her?
Jade: No I don't. But I'll worry about her later lets get this done first. Data, fly me and Boom up the staircase with you. If we get attacked drop me and Boom on the staircase and keep going till you reach the top. Me and Boom will keep you unharmed.
Data: Understood! He quickly grabbed Boom and Jade and flew forwards a bit, and then along the staircase.
Data kept focused on the motion sensor that appeared on his helmet. Boom began to produce a handful of plasma balls in his right hand. Jade was also ready for anything that came at her.

(Sara was watching the fights from her office via her security monitors. Each screen was focused on each of the X-men's individual battles. Pavati with the evil doll, Avriletta with the alligator monster, and Jack with the Sentinels. Sara was mainly concentrating on Jack's fight. A part of her wanted the Sentinels to kill Jack, but the other part of her wanted him to survive just long enough for her to finish off the job. Then out of no where, the three newcomers stepped onto the arena. Sara looked at the three mutants on the screen and was shocked when she recognized one of them. The blue woman with red hair looked at Sara.)
Mystique: I assume they aren't allies of yours?
Winterfire: Well one of them was an old accomplice of mine. But now, she is just as bad as the rest.
Mystique: Sara the situation is overwhelming. I doubt the Sentinels and your remaining agents can handle the X-men and those new mutants. Not to mention the rest of the police force that is on their way up here, as we speak. I recommend we prepare for our departure, before it is too late.
Winterfire: I agree, but right after I deal with Jackie. I think it would be rude of me to leave so soon. After all, Jackie did come all this way, I wouldn't want to disappoint him. For now, get to the rooftop and get the helicopter ready. If everything goes wrong in the end... you will know what to do.
Mystique: It will be risky, but if this plan of yours works, the Sovereigns will have one less chess piece to deal with.
(Sara had that evil smile on her face when things never ended good. She grabbed her communicator and spoke to Vertigo.)

(The Sentinel was throwing multiple punches at Jack, but each one he evaded flawlessly. He appeared to be maintaining balance and control, but he was drastically losing energy from the psychic fists and his motion tracking eyes. Vertigo lifted his hand and sent a mental attack at Jack. He suddenly felt a dizzy sensation. This gave the Sentinel the perfect opportunity to strike. It managed to land several blows to Jack's stomach and face, before he gained consciousness. He lifted the robot into the air with his telekinesis, and extended his hand forward, sending it crashing through the wall.)
Mindcontrol: One down.
(Jack's psychic fist faded away, because he was unable to sustain them any longer. He ripped off his right sleeve and tied it on the wound on his left arm from the alligator monster. Vertigo aimed his gun at Jack, when he noticed three new mutants. He watched as three new mutants were making there way for the higher floors. He quickly turned to one of the two Sentinels next to him.)
Vertigo: Sentinel Advance number 002, dispose of those three trespassers!
Sentinel Advance: Yes, sir.
(The Sentinel immediately activated its rocket boots and flew after the mutant trio.)

Avriletta had gotten her senses back and snapped Garfaxy's neck, "Stupid man." she spat.
Nails flew at vertigo and the sentinal. the sentinal was hit and small bits were eaten away, "Pavati! want help?" Ave. ran behind Pavati and took out a sword and knife.

Boom: We've been spotted guys! He said as he noticed one of the sentinel coming at them. He let go of the plasma bombs he held, but the sentinel moved out of the way.
Data's began to fly quicker to make it further up before they had to spot to take care of the sentinel. Data turned a little so that the staircase was below them. Jade looked straight down and saw the sentinel catching up. The robot was quicker then Data's suit, and it was catching up.
Jade: Ok drop me now! She shouted.
Data let go of Jades arm and she dropped down. She moved herself in the air so that her arms were facing down at the robot. She closed her fist and got ready to punch the sentinel. A second later her fist made contact and sent the robot crashing down on staircase. Jade continued to drop down until she slammed onto the staircase just a few feet away from the sentinel.
Jade began to get to her feet but the sentinel had already began to attack. He flew into Jade and slammed her against. Jade grunted and the sentinel landed a punch on her face.
Boom watched the fight and quickly instructed Data to drop him on the staircase. The moment Boom's feet touched the floor he began to run down to aid Jade.
Boom: I thought this lady would be able to fight better! He thought to himself as he raced to the fight.
Jade put her hands together and swung her arms up. She made contact with the sentinel, which sent it to the up and causing it to destroy part of the staircase above them. Jade dove out of the way to dodge the broken parts of the staircase that came down. The sentinel stood in the air and fired a laser beam at Jade and she dove again to dodge the blast.
Boom noticed the sentinel flying in the air and stopped running. He was across the room and on a higher level then they were. He created 5 plasma balls in his right hand and threw them. The balls reached the sentinel and they all detonated on the target.
While Boom and Jade focused on the sentinel, Data kept flying towards the end of the staircase.

(The acid from Avriletta burned Vertigo's gun, leaving it useless. He used the end of the gun and smacked Jack across the face. He suddenly received a signal from Sara on his communicator. He reached into his pocket and grabbed his communicator to speak to Sara.)
Vertigo: Yes?
Winterfire: Landon, we cannot contain the situation any longer. Meet me in my office, we're leaving.
Vertigo: Yes, madame.
(Vertigo said without question. He then placed his communicator in his pocket. Vertigo then turned to the exhausted Jack.)
Vertigo: This was fun while it lasted. Now sir, I bid you adieu.
(Vertigo fired a mental attack at Jack to distract him long enough for his escape. He grabbed hold of the Sentinel and ordered it to fly back to Sara's office. The Sentinel kicked on its rocket boots and the two began to fly to the top floor after the Iron Man imitator. Jack shook his head clear, before proceeding to the staircase.)

Boom and Jade continued to fight the Sentinel. Boom used his plasma bombs to knock the Sentinel out of the air so that Jade to finish it off. The moment the Sentinel feel on the staircase Jade ran to it and attacked it, she didn't give it time to get up. She began to bang her fist against it's chest. With every hit the staircase began to crack more and more. Finally, Jade lifted both her arms and banged them both against the chest at the same time. The sentinels chest cracked opened and the staircase feel through causing them to drop to a lower level.
Jade struggled to her feet and noticed as a other sentinel flew towards the top level as well, following Data.
Jade: Boom run up at help Data! It looks like his about to have some problems! She shouted out once she caught her breath.
Boom: Alright, I'm on it!
Meanwhile Data continued to fly. He looked down and noticed that he was being followed.
Data: I got to knock him down before I get to the top. He thought to himself.
Data stopped in the air and pointed his arm down at the sentinel and the man riding it. The suit locked onto the target and a compartment in his wrist opened up. 2 smart rockets flew out of it aiming at the sentinel.
He didn't wait to see if he hit his target before he started to fly again. A couple of seconds later he reached the top of the staircase and landed.

(Meanwhile, the Sentinel dodged the first rocket, but it was struck with the second. The force of the rocket only managed to momentarily slow it down. However, the blast casued Vertigo to fall off the Senmtinel. He reached his hand for the staircase's metal railing. He grabbed it and pulled himself up. Once he was back on his feet, he began climbing the stairs. Shortly after, the Sentinel landed on the top floor. It reached over and grabbed the man in the robot suit by his neck and slammed him against the wall.)
....
(Jack was making his way to the higher floors. He stopped and looked down at his teammates on the ground. It seemed they had control over the situation. He knew now would be the perfect opportunity to go face his old love. He continued running until he encountered a woman and a boy.)
Mindcontrol: I have no idea who you guys are, but I'm glad you guys came when you did. We can get acquainted later, but right now I've got business to attend to... You can take on whoever is left, but leave the fire woman to me.

Data banged the wall hard. The wall crushed in and his head filled the dent.
Data: Shit! He thought to himself when he was caught.
The suits boots booster turned on once again and the two robots flew to the ceiling. The sentinel took all the damage and Data continued to use his boot boosters to keep the pressure on the sentinel.
The sentinel finally managed to slip out of the tight spot and cause Data to bang against the ceiling. The sentinel shot a laser beam at Data and caused him to drop back down to the steps. The Sentinel flew down to attack Data. Before the sentinel reached Data extended his right arm out like he did earlier and shot out a other 2 rockets, leaving only 4 rockets left in his left arm.
The sentinel failed to dodge the set of rockets and stopped in the air. Data quickly flew to the sentinel and grabbed it by the legs. He spun around and then let the sentinel go, causing it to crash against one of the walls on a lower level.
Data gently landed on the staircase and the face plate his helmet lifted up so he can get some air.
Data: That laser beam sure hurt. He said observing the chest plate of his suit of any damage. He finished up and looked at the entrance to the other room. Alright, I'm sure there's a other fight coming up. He said and the face plate dropped back into place. He then began to walk to the door.
Meanwhile Boom was about to start running again when he heard someone approach Jade and himself from behind. It was the person that was fighting one of the sentinels on the ground level.
Jade thought about what he had said. She had intended on fighting Sara but this man also wanted to.
Jade: Ok, we'll follow you as back up.
Jade said a few seconds later. As much as she would like to get revenge she knew that she wasn't in the condition to win the fight. She could already feel he muscle mass going down and she was far from her 100%.
Boom looked up at the damage at the staircase. There were two gaps in the staircase caused by Jade's fight with the sentinel.
Boom: Well, I really don't think that we can jump over those. Boom said looking up for a little while longer and then looked at Jade and the new guy.

(Jack switched off his motion-tracking technique to conserve some energy for the battle ahead. He looked at the broken staircase as his eyes turned from blue to his natural brown.)
Mindcontrol: Not a problem kid.
(Jack used his telekinesis to lift the boy to the other side of the staircase. Once he was safely on the other side, he turned to the woman and lifted her in the same manner. After she too was on the other side, Jack levitated himself across.)
Mindcontrol: Alright, let's go.
...
(Vertigo finally made it to the final floor. He barely made it long enough to witness the man in the suit destroy the last Sentinel Advance prototype. "So much for Bolivar Trask's perfect killing machines.", Vertigo thought to himself. Once he heard the man's last comment about his next fight, Vertigo fired a powerful mental attack at his brain, knocking him out instantly.)
Vertigo: Too bad you'll have to sit this one through.
(Vertigo placed his hand on his chest and began to catch his breath. The last attack really took a lot out of him. He walked over to the door, opened it and ran to the hallway that would lead him to Sara's office.)

Dear Count,
I am here to inform you that the base in which you started your organization has now fallen. Most of the Sovereign agents here have ether been killed or arrested. At this point in time, in which that I am writing this message, I am one of the last standing at this threshold. I have the chance now to escape, but I choose to stay and fight to the end. The Sentinels' performance was just as I predicted. Mystique will take a copy of the security footage of the battle to Genosha. That way her people can study it and improve the Sentinels' battle tactics against our enemies here. Once done, you will have your perfect army. By the time you read this message I shall be either dead or captured, but you can bet I'm going to take your old precious old Mindcontrol down with me. Tell Max he's in charge now and that he means everything to me.

(Vertigo knocked on the door and Sara quickly sent the message. Her voice filled the room inside as she spoke to Vertigo.)
Winterfire: Come in Landon.
(Sara spoke in an unusual tone of voice. Usually she spoke with confidence and strength, but she almost sounded uncertain. When Vertigo entered the room, Sara got that weird feeling when Tank entered the room in the same fashion ages ago, before he died. She pressed a button beneath her desk, which opened a wall revealing a secret staircase that lead to the helicopter pad on the roof. Sara looked at Vertigo.)
Winterfire: I want you to go with Mystique.
Vertgio: Sure, ok, let's go Sara.
Winterfire: I'm not going.
Vertigo: What!! Oh no, not this again. Sara, give it up. The base has been overtaken, we lost. Look at this security screen, look at any security screen!!
(Sara looked at the screen. Jack and the new mutants were making their way to the top floor. Pavati and Avriletta were fighting the last Sovereign agent, the doll monster and her master. Another screen showed that the group of police officers were standing outside the door with the red flashing light. They finally managed to deactivated the security system. The light on top of the door turned from red to green. The door unlocked and the officers, lead by Veronica, ran inside. Sara just stared at the screens, totally emotionless. Vertigo walked over to Sara's side and hugged her.)
Vertigo: Let's get out of here love.
Winterfire: If you love me, will you please just let go of me?
Vertigo: No, I love you way more than to do that.
(Sara smiled softly, stood up and placed her hand on the back of his neck. Landon and Sara turned around, arm in arm, toward the staircase. Suddenly, Vertigo began to scream uncontrollably, before falling to the ground, completely motionless. She had sent a minuscule amount of electricity at Vertigo, just enough to cause him to fall unconscious. Sara removed her two fingers from his neck and turned to Mystique.)
Winterfire: Take him to the helicopter.
Mystique: Of course. Good luck.
(Mystique walked over and carried the man up the stairs. As Sara walked back to her chair and sat down, she wiped away the tears that were rolling down his face. She pressed the button on the bottom of her desk and the secret door closed. She then focused on the screen where it showed Jack, waiting for the opportunity to use one of her last traps on him.)
