Kitty also looked at Liz curiously, and Lockheed cowered slightly. Kitty noticed this and petted him on the head. Even Lockheed knew that these "tools" weren't going to be pretty.

Liz reached the door and paused. A smirk crepped across her face, making her look more demonic than ever. The young leader had some tricks up her sleeves that would make even Avriletta cringe.

A dead silence still hung in air since Liz mentioned her idea. Kitty really began to feel the effects of the past few days weigh on her. It was time to get some well-needed rest. Kitty tapped Jack on the shoulder. He especially needed some rest because of his injuries.
Shadowcat: Let's call it a night. She's not going anywhere.
Kitty nudged her head towards Winterfire during that last comment. As she began to walk toward the exit, Lockheed bared his fangs at Sara in a sarcastic smile. Kitty just shook her head, knowing she was the only one who understood that Lockheed was telling Sara "sleep tight".

(Jack wanted to know what Liz was going to do to Sara. When Kitty told him that they should go to bed, only then did Jack realize how tired he was. He really didn't want to go to bed, but he desperately needed the rest. Jack nodded and turned to Sara. He looked at her, almost feeling sorry for her, almost. He then began to follow Kitty out the door.)

Winterfire: Don't let the door hit you on your way out!
(Sara watched as Jack and Kitty left the room. The evil woman listened intensively to the sound of their footsteps as the two slowly made their way from the jail cells. The footsteps slowly began to fade away, to the point where Sara's couldn't hear them anymore. At this moment, she knew they were gone. Sara swiftly stood up straight. She walked over to the bars of the cell and tried to jam her arm through the space between each individual bar. That way, her hand would not be in the blue light and she would then be able to conjure some blue fire. It failed, the spaces between the bars were too short in length for her hand to fit through. She walked inside her cell, looking for anything that she could use. The cell consisted of a cot on the ground in the upper left corner and in the opposite corner was a small sink and toilet. She looked around, but there was nothing she could use to her advantage. Sara held both her hands in the air and began concentrating on creating fire. No matter how much energy or emotion she used to fuel her fire, it was not enough. The blue light almost completely removed her powers. All she could produce from her fingertips were small puffs of smoke. In this cell, she was powerless... maybe even human. She shook the idea violently from her head.)
Winterfire: I'm not like them! I will never be human!
(She began releasing some of her temper by punching the walls with all her might. After several punches to the wall, she calmed down and began shaking her fists.)
