Interrogation

[Mindcontrol]

(Jack was watching the entire interrogation unfold from the control room. Up to this point, everything was going well, almost too well. The way Sara had been so cooperative astonished Jack. Now, Jack could see that things were starting to go the wrong way. When Liz mentioned her "Master", the psychic felt like his organs were twisting inside. Jack quickly grabbed the microphone and spoke through the Danger Room's P.A. system.)

Mindcontrol: Liz what are you going to do?

[Nightcat]

Liz looked up at the control room, "Stay out of this!" Her words were filled with anger and her fangs were bared. She turned her attention back to Sara. She pushed the girls head down onto the table, "Master is one known as En Sabah Nur. He is also called Apocolypse."

[Count/Winterfire]

(Sara clenched her teeth when Liz pressed her face against the table. The moment when Liz gave away the name of her master, Sara stopped for a moment. A large grin crossed her face as she slowly began to laugh maniacally.)

Winterfire: Alright, stop pulling my strings. You honestly believe that your master is the legendary Apocalypse?

(Sara was waiting for Liz to tell her the truth, but the expression on her face told otherwise. The smile on Sara's face slowly began to fde away.)

[Nightcat]

Liz straightened up and her smile grew, "Do I look like I am joking?" She pulled the girl's hair back and slammed Sara's face back down on the table, "I lost everything because of him!" She growled as she screamed. Quickly she regained her composure but something still lurked behind her eyes, "Master was good to me. He spared my life and gave me my sight back when we resealed him. He's not gone though... Master is always with me." Whatever was behind Liz's eyes stirred as she looked down at the girl.

[Count/Winterfire]

(Sara blinked her eyes to try to remove the pain from Liz smashing her head onto the table. Sara moved her head sideways, so that her right eye looked directly at Liz.)

Winterfire: Wow, to think that you are actually more psychotic then me!

(Sara yelled at the top of her lungs. She then began laughing. The thought of what she said would probably have been her death sentence, but in Sara situation, that was better than living.)

[Mindcontrol]

(When Liz told Jack to stay out of this, it only assured his fears. He reached over to the computer and stopped recording. Jack felt like an idiot for not stopping the recording earlier. No one should ever know about Apocalypse, let alone Liz's connection with him. Once he stopped the recording, Jack ran to the door and made his way down the arena where Liz and Sara were located. At the moment when Jack finally get there, Sara began screaming at Liz and it was obvious that Liz was going to explode. Jack quickly ran over to where Liz was. He had no idea what to do. He wasn't going to attack Liz. So he just acted on his on instincts.)

Mindcontrol: Liz please, don't do anything you might regret. Come back to your senses.

(Jack slowly started to reach for Liz's shoulder.)

[Nightcat]

Liz was shaking as Sara started yelling. Her eyes glowed a bright red as she pulled Sara's hair back again. She was about to kill the girl when she felt Jack's presence behind her. She turned around to face her third and a deep growl came from her chest, " Didn't I tell you to stay out of this?" Her eyes widened and the glow pulsed causing a powerful blast to hit Jack.

[Mindcontrol]

(The speed of Liz's attack was too great for Jack to counteract it. The attack struck Jack and he was propelled into the air, before he came smashing down. The blast shredded his shirt and some of the bandage tape underneath. Jack tried to get up, but he felt a surge of pain in his ribs, causing him to fall back to the ground. He looked up at Liz. The Nur side of her was coming out again. He got back on his feet and turned to Liz. Jack had to reach out to her, before it was too late. He sent a telepathic message to try and reach her.)

"Liz, snap out of it! You don't have to be a pawn of Apocalypse. Think of the others. We can't lose you, I can't lose another friend. Let me help you..."

(He had a feeling that anything he had say to Liz was not going to change the situation at hand. Jack was already ready to call in the rest of the team if things were to get ugly.)

[Nightcat]

Liz started laughing as Jack message faded from her mind, "I am not a pawn! Master takes care of me! You have done nothing!" She threw her hands up in the direction of Sara and Jack, capturing them both. She brought the two of them close to each other against the wall, applying pressure to them as she did so. She tilted her head to one side and gave a smile, but her eyes seemed black of emotion, "You cannot help me."

[Mindcontrol]

Mindcontrol: I could never convince you of anything.

(Jack and Sara both let out grunts of pain as they pinned against the wall. When Liz began adding pressure, Jack was grinding his teeth as he felt the pain intensify in his chest. Sara turned her head toward Jack.)

Winteifre: I know you're fond of your so called friend, but if you don't so something quick we are going to be crushed.

Mindcontrol: You are so good at pointing out the obvious!

(Jack's eyes began to glow blue while he used his powers to break from Liz's telekinetic hold. In normal circumstances, Jack could hold himself off against Liz pretty well. However, the current physical condition he was in and the fact that Nur could assist Liz at any moment left Jack at a serious disadvantage. He concentrated his thoughts on Kitty and sent her a mental message.)

"Liz has gone haywire!! Her Nur personality has unfortunately returned. Sara and I need help, we're in the Danger Room!!"

(As he was sending the message to Kitty, Jack fired a telekinetic blast at Liz.)

[Shadowcat]

Kitty ran through the hallways of the subbasement, determined to get to the danger room. She thought she might have seen a boy standing at the end of one of the hallways, but she passed by so fast and she didn't have time to register it. As she finally made it to the danger room, she phased inside the control room. She took a quick assessment of the situation from above. Liz was using her powers to hold Jack and Sara against the wall. As Kitty turned to run down the hallway to the danger room, she heard the telephone beginning to ring.

Why must everything happen at the same time in this house?

Kitty just continued her running into the danger room. This was the more pressing matter.

[Nightcat]

Liz flinched and slid back slightly when Jack's blast hit her. Sure they had fought before in training, but never full out, no holding back. What little of her was in control realized that this was going to to turn nasty, no matter what happened. She could only hope that none of them eneded up dead.
The teleporter shook her head as though trying to clear it, but instead the pressure on Sara increased and Liz threw Jack halfway across the danger room, landing with a loud thud.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty entered just in time to see Jack being thrown across the room, Liz was still constricting Sara to the wall. Jack crashed onto the floor, and Kitty cringed. Jack was still recovering from broken ribs. This had to end quickly before any more danger could be done. Kitty runs to Liz and puts her hands to lower Liz's arms. She looks into her eyes and tries to speak calmly to relax her.

Shadowcat: Liz. It's okay. You don't need to do this. Not this way. Just breathe. Calm down. You're being too hard. Jack is still hurt from our last mission. Now just take a step back. Take a break. Calm down.

[Nightcat]

Liz's eyes pulsate once more and Kitty is pinned to the wall now. Liz tilts her head to the right slightly and blinks, "There will be no calming down. Not until the brat is dead." To emphasize her point, telepath lifts Sara from the wall and pushes her back into it.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty slammed against the wall. Liz was not going down easy. Possibly Nur was having fun with Liz's more violent side. Kitty looked at Sara at her side; she was already beaten badly. If this continued, she would bleed to death. Kitty tried to fight against Liz's hold, but she couldn't even move an inch. But she had another way. Kitty began to phase through the wall behind her. As she phased herself free, she grabbed Sara's arm and phased her into the wall with her. Kitty had to concentrate on her powers while inside the wall and gave a quick message to Sara.

Shadowcat: If you don't want to die, then don't let go.
