Viper walked with Ryuu down to the stairs. "Thanks" was all she said. Down at the bar Marcus was teasing Echidna about not being feminine enough. Viper raised an eyebrow at the two. "This should be interesting." Viper said.

Ryuu smiled and followed the woman downstairs placing himself as a low table off to one of the walls. He just shook his head as he saw Echidna's temper rising. He braced himself for impact. Pavati's hand shook as she dialed her old home's phone. It took only a two rings for her father to pick up the phone, "Aysu household, Batur speaking." "Baba? It's Pavati." " Benim kızım! How are you on your 20th birthday?" Pavati bit her lower lip. This wasn't going to be the best news, "Baba.... it's me. I'm the bir lanetli. The Change happened last night." It took only moments for her to hear her father's tears. His curses in Turkish were so soft she could barely make them out. However, when she heard her mother's voice asking what's wrong, her father shouted, " Kızımızın bir lanetli! Bu benim hatam! O normal bir hayatım var asla!" "Baba! Please calm down! I am alive and I am one with the Wolf. She isn't fighting my dominance." Pavati knew this was a lie, but it was one that was needed to calm her father. "In fact, I've found a wonderful place for mutants. It's in Pennsylvania and I'll be going there next week. So please... do not worry for me." Batur's tears quieted at this and he cleared his throat, "Ok sevgili. Please keep in contact. I want to know that my little girl is ok." "Ok Baba. Seni seviyorum. Good bye." Marcus was chuckling and knew he shoud stop. "You could not even pick out clothes. You are so butch!" Marcus said. Then Marcus heard Ryuu and Viper aproaching. "How is the pup?"

Ryuu sighed deeply and shook his head, "Not really sure. She fit perfectly in Viper's clothes, but then she asked to call her father. I think that she's really freaked out by what happened. I can hear something going on in her room, but I'd leave her be until she comes down." The cat sighed again and allowed his head to hit the table, his ears drooping slightly

"Well the first time change is always harsh." Marcus said. Jack looked up. "How painful is it?" Jack asked.
"Well just put it like this. You remember the time you got your whole left leg short circuited?" Marcus said.
"Yeah." Jack responded. "Hurt like hell."
"Yeah well imagine that all over your body." Marcus explained. "You body has to shrink and rearrange its bones and internal organs. Not a whole lot of fun."

Ryuu brought his head up and winced, "Suddenly I'm happy that my Change is taking years. I can't imagine going through a full Change." He looked back up the stairs and sighed, "I can only hope that the poor girl has someone like her back home."

Ryuu shrugged, "Sort of. I was born with the ears and tail, but my face didn't always look like this." He pointed to his half-formed muzzle. "It just used to look normal despite the funny eyes and mismatched eyebrows. Ha. Give it a few more years and I'll be covered in fur and my palms will have paw pads. I've spoken to Hank McCoy, but that had to be at least five or six years about. He's not sure if it's a secondary mutation or just an advancement in my original mutation."

Jack looked at Ryuu. "Second mutation huh. Sounds Intresting. Kinda like you, eh Marcus?"
Marcus frowned for a moment. "Kinda 'cept mine is not natural at all."

(Count was sitting near the bar and was keeping to himself as he watched the entire conversation unfold between everyone. When the topic about the secondary mutation came up, he was more keen to listen.)

Marcus shrugged. "I originally started as an orphan. I hung out with other orphan mutants. About 20 years ago alot of kids, mutant kids, where being abandoned in Europe." Marcus said. "Most of us either devoted ourselves to crime lords or formed gangs. I hooked up with a couple of them. You all met one yesterday. His name is Keiy. That little dude with all of those markings?" Marcus described, and when everyone nodded their heads he continued. "At first I was Keiy's friend. Then we got into a fight.Guess who won. If you said Keiy then you were right. And after he won, I bled to death. My mind ended up in hell, and fought like hell to get out. My body was transported to a military lab. I got the weapon X treatment." Marcus shifted to show what he meant. "I use to be covered in normal fur and could shift into a wolf at any time. Now my fur is adamantium and so is every bone in my body. And to make sure I don't bleed to death every time I shifted, I was given a healing power. And to top it off they created coils around my main skeleton that uncoils and makes my wings." Marcus scratched the back of his head. "Still don't know how they managed to make me know how to get the wings to come out."

(Count was surprised by Marcus's story. He listened with interest in what the man had to say.)
Count: Weapon X.... mutant experimentation. I've heard of the experiments done by Homo Sapiens on mutants. How they tried to turn them into the perfect killing machines, their only given purpose to be a tool for war, destruction, and any personal gain on behalf of the humans. But I've never heard of a case in such conditions as yours before. What happened once you got your new... enhancements?

"For a couple of years I did as they told me to." Marcus said remembering exactly what happened. "Then I got into the assassin business and I started to assassin all of those people that did this to me. Keiy included." To get more comfortable Marcus shifted back to his human looking form.

(Count thoughts came back to the boy named Keiy. Remembering the fight back at the mansion. Count wondered how he and the others survived, and he knew he wasn't the only one mystified by this.)
Count: Now that you've brought up this Keiy boy, it makes me wonder how he and the other X-men survived our attack... To say it was an surprise today is an understatement. I think I need to go investigate this, personally and without haste.
