(He stopped making the sandwich when Kitty asked him how she was doing. He wondered if he should tell her the truth. Jack decided to tell her the truth, but just leaving out the part where she kissed him.)
Mindcontrol: I'm not going to lie to you, I'm really worried about her. After you left, I went down to check up on her. When I came in, her arms were covered in blood. I don't know how, but she managed to cut herself several times. I cleaned up her wounds and then she asked me to make her a sandwich.
(He finished the sandwich and then began pouring the cold milk into the empty cup. He continued talking to Kitty, but avoided making eye contact.)
Mindcontrol: I honesty think we made a mistake keeping her locked up. Then there's the risk Nur taking over her mind if we let her out. Either way you look at it, the whole d@mn thing seems like a lose-lose situation.

Kitty put her coffee down and listened to Jack when he said he was worried. When he said the terrible news Kitty put her head in her hands and let out a disappointed sigh. Lockheed too seemed shocked by the news. Kitty hated what they had to do. She was disappointed in herself for what she had done to Liz, and also disappointed in what Liz was doing to herself in torment.
Shadowcat: This is a difficult situation. I mean, before we could have handled Nur ourselves. It didn't have to be this way. But now there are others here, kids here, that haven't experienced what we all went through a year ago. We just couldn't risk having Nur attack anyone else.
No matter how much Kitty tried to justify their actions, it still felt awful and she became more disappointed in herself. Lockheed tried nuzzling to make her feel better, but there was just way too much on her mind. She turned back to Jack.
Shadowcat: Want me to go talk to her?

(Jack let out a sigh when he heard Kitty's response. She was right, but it still made him feel guilty for his part in all of this. When Kitty asked him if she wanted to talk to Liz, Jack shook his head. Jack began putting away the bread, jelly, milk, and peanut butter. As he was doing this he continued talking to Kitty.)
Mindcontrol: No, I don't think that would be a good idea. Right now, having Liz see you, Christina, or any of the others might be too much for her emotionally. I've already talked to Liz and tended to her, so it shouldn't be a problem for me. Plus, protecting Pavati was my responsibility. I should be the one to break the news to her.
(Jack grabbed a napkin for Liz. He then grabbed the plate with the sandwich and the cup of milk. Jack turned to Kitty.)
Mindcontrol: Besides, I have to go give her this sandwich... So, is there anything else that Liz should know about the mission?

Shadowcat: Just everything I've told you. And tell her I am sorry.
Kitty gave another heavy sigh as she began to help clean the kitchen, starting with washing the coffee cups.

(Jack nodded his head. With the cup of milk in one hand and the plate with the sandwich on the other, Jack left the kitchen and made his way to the working elevator.)

(After the meeting with Liz, Jack walked into the kitchen, his hand on his chest. He noticed that Kitty was still cleaning.)
Mindcontrol: I'm back from the briefing with Liz.
(He made his way to the table. Jack pulled out a chair and sat down to rest. He waited patiently for Kitty to finish what she was doing.)

Kitty had just finished cleaning all the cups and washing out the coffee maker and was putting them up when Jack came back. She began to turn around in midsentence when she saw his bloody beaten face.
Shadowcat: How did it go....Oh my God!!! What happened to you?

(Jack jumped a little from Kitty's reaction, though he had a feeling she would react like that. Jack looked up at Kitty with the most innocent express he could muster.)
Mindcontrol: She took it just like I thought she would. Hehe... Can you please get me some water?
(He said this with a high degree of sarcasm. Jack placed his hand on his head. His head was hurting, his stomach was in pain, his ribs were in excruciating pain. Jack's his hair would probably be hurting if it was possible. He let out a sigh, thinking of all the things that have happened in the past few days. His face become serious.)
Mindcontrol: Liz wants us to update the security in the mansion. We need to be on high alert in case the Sovereigns show up. If Count or the Sovereigns attack, I've been ordered to let Liz out.

Kitty immediately grabbed a glass and filled it with water for Jack. She also reached in top cabinet for just some over-the-counter medicine and found some pain relievers. She also grabbed a towel and placed a few ice cubes in it. She gathered all the supplies and joined Jack at the table. She pushed the water and pills towards him and placed the towel with ice on the table as she gave him instructions.
Shadowcat: Take those and then place that towel on your busted lip. I can get started on the security upgrades soon. Do you think Liz is going to let HIM out if Count comes?

(Jack calmly watched as Kitty grabbed everything she needed and placed them on the table. He grabbed the towel with ice and placed it on his lip just as Kitty told him. With his free hand he grabbed the pills and popped them into his mouth. He then grabbed the water and drank it down. "At this rate, I'm going to get addicted to these things!" he thought to himself. He looked up at Kitty once he took the pain killers.)
Mindcontrol: I don't even want to think about that. If those two fight, Nur is going to come out, whether she wants to or not.

Kitty nodded her head solemnly. They would have to face the inevidentable soon.
Shadowcat: We'll have to inform all the other occupants of the mansion about the possible upcoming battle here.

Christina ran through the mansion as soon as she got off the elevator. She eventually found both Kitty and Jack in the kitchen. She sounded a bit out of breath as she told them.
Christina: Guys, it's Liz! She's bleeding downstairs; she needs help!

(Immediately Jack stood up, knowing what Liz must have done to herself after he had left. A bunch of curse words began roaming around in his head, and a few randomly jumped out of his mouth.)
Mindcontrol: Son of a b%&#h! D@mnit, she's cutting herself again! Kitty, you take care of this! I think I'm the last person Liz wants to see now.
