Inside the Fire

[Oracle]

Christina glared at Sara and lightly laughed on the inside as she flicked Sara off behind her back. She tried struggling in her seat to get more comfortable, but the ropes clung tightly to her stratching her arms further along with the burns that were already there. She glanced towards Jack. He still seemed a bit shaken by the story Sara had brought up. Christina couldn't deny that she was a bit shaken by the tale as well. She was just getting used to making small objects fly and creating shields. It never occured to her that her telekinesis could be more destructive. She looked away from Jack and spoke in a whisper for it didn't seem to be really appropriate to speak about this any louder.

Christina: You could really do that? Crush someone with just a thought?

[Mindcontrol]

Mindcontrol: Well yeah, but then during that bank with the officer, that was the first time I ever crushed anybody. Seeing Sara get hurt back then I actually cared about her, but now, ha! Thats why I'm nervous right now. Sara now can use our powers and others, combined them and use them to her own will. What are you planing Sara?

Winterfire: You want me to spoil everything. I will reveil all in New York. Why aren't you guys eating? You want me to do everything for you?

(Sara stands up and opens their bags. She grabs some of the peanuts and thrust them into their mouths'. She sits back down, watching them eat.)

Winterfire: After tomorrow it will pave way for the Sovereigns to take over this planet. Oh Jackie didn't I tell you? We have agents all over the planet now, we went global two years ago.

Mindcontrol: What are you talking about?

[Oracle]

Immediately, the news report Christina briefly saw last night came to her mind. Was it instinct that she remembered this; she didn't know. But it seemed to fit.

Christina: There was mutant attack in France yesterday. Interpol?

[Mindcontrol]

(Sara begins to smile when Christin brought up Interpol. Her smile already gave the answer for both Christina and Jack.)

Winterfire: Yes we were responsible for that attack, well my father deserves the credit. My father left to France to expand the Sovereigns two years ago. Since then he's expanded The Sovereigns to twelve countries all over the world. Now answer this question, "why do you think we got this big in so little time?" Its because there are mutants out there with an idea, a dream if you will. This dream is for all mutants to take over this world because the strong should not be ruled by the weak. I still ask myself, why is the world ruled by these creatures that are weaker then us? We should rule over them, they should either be destroyed or learn to serve us. To think even here in the U.S where people all over the world consider this land to be "paradise". Do mutants consider this land "paradise", no. No matter where they live its all the same, those creatures hate us! Once my conquest of paradise is complete I will make this land and all lands on earth what it was meant for, there will be peace.

(Jack just sat there not eying either of them. All that Sara said was making him sick to his stomach. Sure, he never helped The Sovereigns get to the point that they were making plans of world domination, but he still felt guilty. He thought it would be best to change the subject, before he starts losing his mind.)

Mindcontrol: Oh I forgot to tell you Christina, but Chris is back.

(Jack said this with an emotionless tone, still not looking at either of them.)

[Oracle]

That little tidbit made Christina completely forget about the dire situation at hand. Her eyes grew wide and her jaw almost dropped as she turned to stare at Jack.

Christina: Whoa, what?! He's back?! How?

[Mindcontrol]

Mindcontrol: I sent a message to Liz for help, and the others will come, hopefully. Liz just told me that Chris was back thats all I know.

(Sara begins to look at Jack, her hellfire eyes stared into his. Jack felt like an idiot, already feeling low from all the tension and pressure given by Sara.)

Mindcontrol: They will come, soon, I have faith.
