Christina took a deep breath before she mounted the balance beam. The danger room looked like an olympic style gymnastic room. She had asked Kitty to help set it up for her. She took a few steps on the beam and started with a few jumps. She then did a back walk-over and one more. She placed her hands down on the beam and performed a hand stand. Her weight was basically nothing to her now. She walked with her hands unto the beam until she reached the end. She lowered her feet back unto the beam and then swiftly did a series of quick back hand springs and dismounted in a back flip. She took a few deep breaths after. She walked over to the other side of the room with her things. She took a sip of water and checked the laptop she had brought down with her. Her search of Ancient Egypt was not complete yet. Christina didn't know what it was, but ever since Apocalypse, she kept wanting to do more research. Why did things happened the way they did? She set the water back down and went back to the balance beam to wait for the search.

The elevator *ding*ed and Liz got out. She entered her code into the Danger Room's panel and the door slid open. She liked the new set up and had used it herself on several occasions while her eyes were still healing. She spotted Christina and waved over at her, "Mind if I join you?"

Christina looked up and saw Liz walking in. She causally lowered her eyes before she picked her eyes back up to her. She lowered herself off the balance beam to face her.
Christina: No, it's fine.

Liz smiled and closed her eyes, switching to using her telepathy and telekinesis to "see". She walked over to the girl and leaned against the beam, "I really like vhat kitty did in here. I zink only she could have programed zis."

Christina: Yeah. I know I couldn't do this myself. I'm not that good with computers.

"You are very smart zough. You've come a long vay in coming up vith defensive tactics. I vatched you're training session vith Kitty." This was true, but the blue girl only used this as an ice breaker. She and the seer had been on weird terms since the return from Egypt.

Christina: Thanks.
Christina could sense that Liz was trying to make small talk. Christina took a breath. She started to smile and laughed a little.
Christina: So Kitty set you up to come talk to me now?

Liz's smile left her dark face, "She figured it vas time ve talked. Ve don't hang anymore and ve have barely said five vords to each other since ve got back." She kept her eyes closed, not wanting to make the girl feel uncomfortable.

Christina's smile faded. She leaned her arm against the balance beam.
Christina: It's nothing against you personally Liz. It's just... I usually keep to myself, after...
Christina couldn't even bring herself to say it. She took a deep breath and pushes a piece of fallen hair out of her face.

Liz sighed and pushed up on to the beam, her eyes still closed. She turned and performed two back-walkovers before just stopping as though it was just to calm herself down. She lowered her self slightly and did a back flip off of it. She stuck the landing, but sat down seconds later with her back to the girl. She turned around, her eyes still closed, "I understand... well.... not really, but I guess zat it takes us all different times to get over vhat happened."

Christina took a deep breath and pushed herself up to sit on top of the beam.
Christina: I'm sorry, Liz. It's just an old habit I guess.
Christina looked down to the ground and took a few breaths before continuing.
Christina: I, uh.... After my dad died, most people left me to myself... I guess they thought it would be better for me to learn to get over it myself.

A small smile graced Liz's face, "Zis time you are not alone zough. You have us... The team." She shrugged, "Vell, vhat ist left of ze team."

Christina lowered her head and sighed.
Christina: Yeah, what's left of the team...
Christina quickly stood up unto the beam. She did a front walk-over. Gymnastics required concentration; it helped take her mind off of other things. She did a back ariel, back walk-over, and dismounted with a twisted layout. When she landed, she stumbled on her feet a bit. There are some things even gymnastics couldn't take off her mind.

Liz's eyes flew open and she looked up, "Avriletta's here!" She looked back to Christina, "Let's go see zem."

Christina nodded her head.
Christina: Alright, right behind you.
Christina walked over to collect her things. She closed the laptop and carried in her arms. She followed Liz out of the Danger Room and shouted before she left.
Christina: End session.
The gymnasium disappeared and the danger room reverted back to its original state.
