Liz looked up and rolled her eyes. She then sighed and straightened up, "My life isn't healthy. If I'm not refusing to eat, zen I'm shooting up ze cure to keep from hearing ze voice of a homicidal genius in my head. If I'm not doing either, I put shallow cuts in my arms. I know I'm not ze only vone who came back fucked up, but it seems like I'm ze only vone who's externalizing it. If I vere you... I'd vorry less about ze self-destructive nut-job und vorry about ze girl who died and acts like everzing is fine." Liz's eyes were firm and serious. Though she wouldn't admit it herself, but she was very worried about Christina. It was true. The brunette had internalized everything that had happened in Egypt. There had been no way to allow any of them therapy for the after-math and now Liz felt guilty about not being able to hire someone to come in and help them.

Kitty was a bit taken back when Liz said that they should focus on Christina. True, the seer was always quiet and kept things to herself. She knew they would have to check on her, especially with her using Cerebro recently.
Shadowcat: I know, Christina has always been a closed-book. But Liz, your actions are just as serious as Christina repressing everything. I know you both think that you don't want to bother or burden us with your problems, but we want to help you. Let us.

Liz shook her head, "I've never had any help for anyzing in my life, mentally vise. I do not need it. Ze only help I vill accept is if you can figure out a vay to get Nur out permanently vithout me being stuck as a human. Good luck because, so far, that's the only vay. Either zat or kill me." She stared up at the phaser and held her ground. After a moment, she sighed deeply, "Just focus on Christina. Vhile I vas sleeping, I hear zhe door open and close a few times and I have a feeling she vas down here vhich is vhy I'm guessing you knew about me." The woman then closed her eyes and relaxed on the bed as best she could, putting her back to her Second.

Kitty held her own in front of Liz, but inside she just felt like she was letting Liz down. When she turned her back to her, Kitty stood up to leave.
Shadowcat: I'll go check on Christina like you asked. But we're not giving up on you either. We will find a way.
And with that Kitty got her supplies and exited the cell. She activated the energy bars and left center.

Liz was actually sleep for once, with no dreams coming to disturb her, when the alarms blared. She sat bolt upright and stared around for a moment before looking up. Despite not having any of her abilities, she knew that a huge battle was about to happen and that it had something to do with Winterfire. She grabbed the communicator, "Jack! Vhat's going on up zere?"

(Sara was sleeping as well when the sound of the alrams went off. She got up and penned herself to the wall, wondering what was going on. After a few moments, the alarms subsided. She listened carefully to a voice coming from the end of the cells.)
Something or someone triggered an alarm. I'm checking the security system right now and I'll get in touch with you soon.
(Sara wondered what was going on. She had a feeling it was someone coming for her.)

As soon as Christina made it to the subbasement, she first went to go change into her uniform. As she made her way from the locker rooms to the holding cells, she made sure Sara's medallion was tucked inside her top and zipped her top all the way up. She made it to the detention cells and stood outside, debating whether or not to go in. Subconsciously, her hand went to the exposed scar on her stomach. She wouldn't admit it to anyone, but she was scared. She was afraid of exactly who would come out of that cell.
But the more Christina thought about it, her fear was starting to be replaced with anger. She couldn't believe Liz kept it a secret for so long. If it wasn't for her fear, she would have thought of reasons why Liz's kept it a secret from everyone. But at the moment, she was just too upset to be thinking clearly. Instead, she hid behind her guard and walked inside the detention center. She leaned against the wall, avoiding to look at either woman in the cells.

When Christina walked into the room, Sara sat straight on her bed. She looked attentively at the girl. She knew something was bothering her. The fire manipulator stood up, walked casually to the sink. She turned the faucet, knowing that it would get the attention of Christina. She then filled her cup and began to drink.)
Winterfire: What's wrong child? You look ill. Anything I can get you?

Christina sighed. She sort of figured one of the two women would try to talk to her, but she was a little surprised it was Sara who intiated it. She was afraid that she might mention something about their previous conversation in front of Liz. So Christina looked up at her and shot her a look that basically read "Drop it and leave me alone". Christina turned her gaze away from her again and just gave a short retort
Christina: No.

(Sara gazed at Christina's look. She then looked to the side, where Liz's cell was located. Instantly she got an "ohhh" reaction. Sara eyed back at Christina, the sharp grin was now marked on her face. She walked closer to Christina.)
Winterfire: So tell me. What's going on up stairs? Those weren't typical fire alarms. Trust me, I should know.
(The blue light was now behind Sara, so that the front of Sara was now in shadow.)

Christina rolled her eyes. Apparently, she wasn't going to be left alone while she waited. She tried to ignore the firestarter and avoided looking at her again.
Christina: It's none of your business. Now leave me alone.

(Sara let out a disappointing sigh and turned around. She knew she had to get Christina's attention so that she might let something slip. Sara walked over to the faucet and filled the cup with water. Instead of drinking it, Sara took the cup and walked over to Christina. Sara then flung the cup at Christina, sending all the cold water at the back of her head. Sara stood proud, looking charismatically at Christina.)
Winterfire: I was bored.

Christina was instantly shocked when the cold water hit her that it took her breath away for like a second. Then, her mood changed on a dime. If she was aggravated before, now she was just raving mad. She growled as she pushed herself off the wall and walked right up to Sara's cell. She sent daggers in her eyes at the imprisoned firestarter as she got right in her face and screamed at her.
Christina: WHAT THE HELL?! What?! What do you want from me?! GOD!!! I swear...
Christina turned away from Sara and began releasing a string of curses as she paced the outside of Sara's cell. She stopped in front of Sara again, but this time instead of yelling she just gave a gentle threat.
Christina: Just leave me alone; or the next time you pull a little stunt like that, you're going to need reconstructive surgery to look even remotely like your old self.

Christina was still steaming over Sara's stunt, but she was thankful at least that everyone was being quiet now and leaving her alone. Then she heard Jack calling out to her in her head.
Hey Christina, it's Jack. The situation is now under control and Count has been dealt with. So you can relax and...
But then he was just cut off! Apparently Count was not out for the.... well, count* or he was ambushed. Christina instantly was on her toes and kept pacing around the center. She reached out back to Jack.
Jack! You ok? What's happening?
(OOC: * = No pun intended)

Christina was still on pins and needles waiting to hear from Jack. In reality it was only a matter of a few seconds, but to Christina it felt like minutes until Jack responded with frightening news.
It's Jack! I was ambushed by Count and he teleported me miles away from the mansion! Everyone be on your guard!
Christina jumped into action and ran to the controls of the detention cells. Jack's orders were at his command, she was to let Liz out. But would it really be Liz who came out of that cell? Christina looked over at Liz's cell and instantly she felt uneasy and even downright scared. Even when Jack gave her the go, would she be hesitant to open the cell? Well, one thing was certain, she was on edge now. Her hands were hovering, and somewhat shaky, over the controls.
