Christina walks into the dimly lit living room with a cup of coffee in hand she got from the kitchen. She takes a sip and sets the cup down on the coffee table. She grabs the remote and begins channel surfing for a while to see if there is anything worth watching. Old black-and-white sitcoms with a bickering married couple... informicials selling the newest product... news report covering a situation in France... overzealous religious witnesses preaching... a blockbuster movie in its ending scenes...
Christina: Figures, nothing.
Her eyelids still seem droopy so Christina takes a few more sips of coffee. She then turns off the TV and looks among the bookshelves for something. She pulls out a book at random and begins reading. The complete plays of William Shakespeare. Well, at least some of the action scenes should keep her awake she thought. She had just managed to get through the first act of A Midsummer Night's Dream before her eyelids finally closed, and the nightmares slowly began.

Liz had managed about two hours of sleep, which was a slight improvement. Whenever her eyes closed she thought she heard Nur's voice, so she didn't sleep much. She had taken to just roaming the mansion at night making sure that all was well.
The dark mutant had heard sounds coming from the living room, but she knew that it was just Christina. Poor girl... Sometimes Liz didn't know who was having the worse time coping. She poked her head in and say that the seer had fallen asleep. With a soft smile she turned away and headed into the kitchen for something to eat.

Liz looked at Amy. It wouldn't been the first time that things had been dreamt to truth around here. There were two powerful psychics in the house aside from herself. She blinked at the green girl as she nodded off to sleep against and she shrugged as she walked around her and headed into the kitchen.

Christina groans as she tosses on the couch. Nightmares are just an inescapable part of her life. Memories and past premonitions of her father, Chris and Ana, her prisonment at Weapon X, Matthews, Apocalypse, all continue to make restful sleep nearly impossible for Christina. Just when she was faced once again with Apocalypse and his deadly blade, Christina's eyes snap open. But instead of her usual blue eyes staring up, a purple aura overshadows them. Her body becomes completely rigid as a sharp gasp escapes her lips.
Christina sees a dark building, but she has never seen this place before. Is it a club of some kind? A shadow catches her eye but it quickly disappears in the alley before Christina could get a good look. Almost immediately, the building is enguffed in large flames. The building burns intensely until there is nothing left.
Christina takes in a deep breath as the purple aura fades away. She closes her eyes and rubs her eyelids. What was that place she saw, and what could have caused that blue fire? Christina feels so exhausted from her sleepless nights that she almost lies back down until she hears voices nearby, some she doesn't recognize.
Christina: Great, what now?
