Liz was about to tell Bobby what the Sovereigns were, but what he had said caught her attention, "Great. Ze two most powerful mutant terrorist organizations known to ze vorld are about to become vone. Ve need to put a end to zis as soon as possible." She stepped forward and walked over to Storm's bed. She sat down at the chair beside the bed and put a hand to the woman's forehead. Very carefully, she started to push her way into Storm's mind.
There she found nothing but darkness. Was this Count's other power? She had worked with Ororo a few times in helping her overcome her Claustrophobia and she had had perfect access to the weather witch's mind during those sessions. Now she had to fight to find the woman's mind and memories.
After several moments, she heard with perfect clarity a scream "ARE YOU AFRAID TO DIE!?!" Liz's physical body jolted back at the harshness of the words. She continued to search the blackness, hoping that she would either find more words or perhaps images. Again, it took a while, but she eventually found something. This time the words were soft, but almost menacing, Give up woman. Give into the darkness.

(The shadow figure of Count continued to circle around an astral version of Strom, representing her mind. The evil figure continued yelling insults at the girl, breaking her spirit. It wouldn't take long before he had control of her. The figure fired a beam of darkness hitting Storm.)
Count: Why do you fight the pointless fight? Join me, give into it. Its hopeless, your team will never win. My temptations will never stop, I will haunt you until the end of days.
(The shadow figure continued to float above Strom. Laughing darkly and firing his insults at the at Storm. For a second he stopped, he felt another presence, something good. He turned to the direction of this person and barely visible through the darkness was figure. It was too dark for him to identify who it was or how this person looked, but could already tell it was not someone on his side. Count pulled out his rapier and teleported behind Strom. He grabbed her and rose her to her feet, then he pointed his sword toward her neck.)
Count: Show your self ohhh benevolent spirit.

Liz narrowed her eyes at the man. Something told him that he couldn't see her. This wasn't unusual as the color of her fur made her close to invisible when she was in dark areas. She stepped forward a little more allowing a small amount of light to touch her, through now the only perfectly visible part of her body were her glowing red eyes, Let her go. Ororo Monroe has had enough darkness for today. I've come to take her back.
The teleporter spoke through telepathy causing her accent to vanish. She needed to keep some parts of her disguised until she felt the time was right.

(Count's double ganger looked at the girl's red eyes. He became more curious and wanted to see how see really looked like. The double ganger dropped Strom slowly. He had suddenly lost complete interest on Strom and gained some on the new girl. He lowered his sword to show respect.)
Count: Let me see you.

Liz smiled softly, showing off her bright, white fangs, This is me. I can hide very easily in the shadows Her pupil-less eyes gazed down at the swords. Suddenly she figured that this man wouldn't attack anyone as long as they were unarmed. This said something about the man's character, even if he was an evil bastard.

(Count was shocked when he saw the girl clearly. She looked like a demon from hell, yet she was fighting the good fight. He hadn't noticed until now, she was equipped with a set of swords, more specifically katanas. This reminded him of the psychic girl he killed earlier. Count grinned evilly and looked at the girl. He didn't want to fight, not yet. There would be time for that later. He wanted to know more about this girl and something told him she also wanted information on him.)
Count: You know I find it a bit ironic that you look the way you do. Yet you fight for the side of humans. In a way, your look shows many characteristics of my own powers.

Liz narrowed her eyes, I'm big on irony. Trust me when I say I once hated humans and thought they all should die, but now has come a time where I must make up for that. She was referring to her time under the control of Nur, but she doubted that this man knew that.
She stepped forward a little more. She also didn't want a fight, at least not in Storm's mind. Her smile disappeared to be replaced by a snarl, You killed two of my friends. One just an innocent boy that was trying to live a normal life. Why?

(Count placed his rapier back in his holster. He took a breath and looked at the girl. He couldn't have cared at the least about the psychic girl. He would have killed a hundred of them, but the boy was a different matter.)
Count: Their are rules everywhere, even in the criminal community. One of those is never to kill a harmless child, but this boy was not one of those. I have tried to get this message across to me children, my son has gotten it, but not my daughter, the rebel. If the cure was to be perfected the results would have been catastrophic. I'm a man of high honor and I assure you that I killed the boy in a quick and painless manner. Better me than one of the Brotherhood members back then in Alcatraz.

Jimmy didn't deserve to die. He was trying to lead a normal life here. The X-men saved him from the Brotherhood and one person died today to protect him from you. Liz's blood eyes blazed as she managed to keep control of her anger. She knew that if she lost control whilst in Storm's mind, she could kill them both. In her opinion, to kill any child was the lowest of the low.

(The double ganger could tell the girl was getting upset. Here were two powerful leaders of rival groups in a situation where the results in a fight would be disastrous. This was the perfect moment to make negotiations between the two groups.)
Count: Mademoiselle, you are the leader of Generation X and I'm the leader of the Sovereigns. Why fight, fighting will never bring peace unless we work together to make common goals. We are gods compared to humans. We can build a better world for all of us. Let's have a truce right here and now.

Immediately, she spoke using her normal voice, "I have done it your vay before und I vill never to it again. Zere vill peace in zis vorld, but only because understanding vill happen. As a person zat looks ze vay I do, I have been scorned und chased und hurt by normal humans, but I have also found most have an amazing capacity to compromise, love, and learn to accept differences if ve give zem ze chance."
It was weird to speak in her natural voice, but she felt that it was imperative to let him hear it.

(The evil man took in all she said, immediately when she talked about love he turned away violently. He covered his eyes and smiled diabolically. The entire area of Storm's mind began to lighten up, all the darkness entered inside Count. Once he removed his hands from his face, the color of his eyes changed to a glowing yellow )
Count: LOVE!!! Hahaughaugha!! You honestly believe that. Love never brings peace, only joy, sadness and agony. Look at me, my wife made me, if you can believe that. That Mindcontrol, the one I took cared of since he was young, tuned my Sara into what she is now. What about you!!! Has love ever brought peace into your life, answer me.

Liz's throat tighten, "En Sabah Nur forced me to kill ze man I loved, but before zat, yes. He made me feel like I vas vorth somezing. He gave me a peace in my heart zat to zis day has never left me." Tears formed in her eyes as she though of Chaze, but so had a smile on her lips. The werewolf had been special and he would never leave her heart or mind.

Count: My condolences madame, I didn't know. I'm sure you two were happy together. I'm sure your sticking to your decision. Let's not fight now, there will be enough of that in the future. Unless you choose to do battle, in the honor of a gentleman and a swordsman I will be forced to kill you.
(Count took a few steps away from the girl. He waited for her to make the decision. Fighting would endanger the safety of the safety Strom, and this was only a double ganger of Count. The double ganger's mind and Count's were one, but they were two separate individuals. Something told him that they were going to fight, if not now, then in the near future, it was kismet.)

Liz cleared her throat and nodded, "Very vell. Count. Gute gluck. You vill need it." She turned and headed back to find her own mind again. It wouldn't be hard now that Storm was free from the darkness.
