(The rubble smoked and simmered even after the terrain and the surrounding areas were deserted, leaving only dried blood and tear-filled memories behind. The hot wind blew past, stirring up thick, reddish dust. A small lizard crawled from behind the shade of a boulder. It scampered over to a small crater no larger than a dime and peered downwards. As it paused a groan slowly rose from the rubble and rose in sound. The groan slowly but surely turned into a snarl and before the lizard could move, the ground below it exploded upward. A furry, blood-streaked paw protruded from the ground and paused for a second, one of the claws stabbing the lizard through, letting fresh new blood run down the claw and into the giant paw. Another roar went up from the ground and then the dirt, sand, and ground moved as the giant white wolf pushed himself upwards and to his feet. His white fur was stained with blood and dirt. His back scorched and burned from the fiery pit he had fallen into. His eyes gleamed their usual brilliant green before being enveloped in blackness. His last thought before the fire had been of Elizabeth. Her blades sinking deep into his sternum, blood running from his many wounds. As he glanced around he realized that she was still out there somewhere and that she was probably the same.)
Wolf: ELIZABETH!!!!
(Wolf snarled as he finished his cry. He broke into a run, his direction unknown. Something was different with him, something was off, something dark and dangerous that had probably messed him up because of how he had survived. Because of Nur's ship. Because of how it had....... He stopped thinking and ran harder. He didn't know where she was, but this time when he saw her he would kill her. She had made it clear that she wasn't the same woman he'd fallen in love with. And mutant or not, he would have his revenge.)

(Wolf ran harder and harder and harder, his breath becoming ragged and unsteady. As the egyptian sun set and the cold night began, he slowed his pace and smiled to himself as he saw a small village in the distance. Seeing the village filled him with an odd sensation. Instead of being relieved and changing back to a human, he rolled quickly in the sand, dirtying himself more. He did this, not breaking his pace and then snarled. Something had changed in him for sure, but he wasn't fully aware of it and didn't really care. As the village neared, Wolf howled in anger. A thousand feet from the village, he howled again and screams went up from the village. Wolf grinned to himself as shots rang out. He was plainly visible with the pale moonlight behind him. The villagers pulled out guns and opened fire, but unlike before, normal bullets had no effect on him. They stung him like bees, but didn't penetrate his skin. Wolf only snarled again and leapt into the village. His teeth snapped and his claws flashed and soon the blood soaked into the sand. To say it was a massacre was an understatement, for he left no one alive. As he viciously beheaded a defenseless woman, he heard a snap behind him. He turned to see a trio of Americans behind him. They were not dressed like the people he was slaughtering, instead wearing uniforms and badges. One held a microphone and another held a camera unsteady as he filmed Wolf. In the distance he saw a Jeep marked CNN. Wolf smiled and dropped the corpse he was destroying.)
Wolf: Perfect.
(The woman holding the microphone stared at him wide eyed and terrified. He could smell her fear. The farthest man was slowly backing up and he whispered to the other two.)
"For Christ's sake, just back away slowly. It's killing them. We gotta go."
Wolf: Go, no. I don't think you'll be going anywhere.
(The woman suddenly became animated as she screamed and turned to run. Wolf leapt and instantly had her throat between his jaws in no time. The cameraman screamed then and tripped over his feet. Wolf aimed his paw at the man and one of his razor sharp claws flew from his paw and impaled the innocent man's chest. His cry fell short. The farthest man turned and ran to the Jeep. As he got in, Wolf picked up a log from one of the many fires burning in the village. Wolf snickered to himself and hurled the log at the Jeep. The projectile slammed into the vehicle and a moment later the Jeep exploded in a fiery gulf. Wolf picked up the camera and saw a cabe attached to a small satellite nearby. Looking into the screen on the cameras's side, it read LIVE. Wolf positioned the camera to face him and growled into it.)
Wolf:Let the world burn, huh Elizabeth. Let it all burn.
(Crushing the camera inbetween his paws he looked over and saw the chaos and destruction he had caused. And suddenly he loved it. It fit him. It completed him. Nur may or may not be around anymore, but he had left him a generous gift. Wolf howled as he broke into another run. In the distance the village burned and the bodies bled out.)

(The days bled into each other as Chaze made his slow, bloody way back to civilization. In his wake lay a plethora of gore and murder, his once emerald eyes now pupiless and black. The live CNN report had spread throughout the country and everytime Chaze would come into a new village, he would find more and more villagers armed and ready. It didn't stop him, but it irritated him and soon he took to ripping the bodies to shreds and burning them. The real world came screaming up to greet him and Chaze slowly came to the realization that Nur was probably defeated or killed. Along with this realization came the fact that the world had moved on and forgotten about him. This fact angered him and he brooded on it as he transformed back into his human form for the first time.)
(Walking slowly into the city, Chaze stopped to viciously murder an Egyptian man and don his shorts and silk shirt. Frowning at the new blood stains on the shirt, Chaze searched the man quickly and found his wallet. Fifty-six dollars, a credit card, an ID, and a card to a hotel were all that Chaze took and he tossed the wallet aside as he glanced back down at the dead man.)
Chaze: Sorry guy, just not your day.
(Chaze walked off, leaving the body lying in plain sight in the alleyway. As he walked, he thought about what he needed to do. There was a list of people he needed to see, and while Elizabeth was one of them, she wasn't the only one. There was still the one called Ecks, the one known as Jack, and the two females, one that had a pet dragon. Chaze scoffed, if he could, he'd kill them all. Before he could think any more, he caught a reflection of himself in a nearby shop mirror. He stopped and stared at the man he no longer recognized.)
(Long black hair down to his shoulderblades, pale skin that seemed to stretch over a thin, frail body, and sunken in cheek bones over a tired face made up the physique of a once stout healthy individual. Chaze simply sighed at himself. This was once again just a symptom of the resurrection. Chaze shook his head and continued on. He needed a shower and some food that he didn't eat with bloodstained paws. Then he would get down to business. He needed a way back to the states and back to the mansion.)

(Looking out over the Egyptian city with the blazing sun slowly burning into the horizon, Chaze wondered just what had happened. Bits and pieces of what had kept him alive flashed through his mind. His last full thought had been of Liz's remorseless face as her sais stabbed through his chest. Then came the falling. The descent into the blazing inferno that was the result of Nur's resurrection. Flames, scorching flames........
Chaze cut off the thought as he growled at himself and clutched tightly at the small shotglass. He frowned at the alcohol and wondered why he thought he should be drinking in the first place. Suddenly a though occurred to him. The world was moving on, obviously he had been forgotten about. So couldn't there be a possibility that Liz was no longer a mindless surbordinate of En Sabah Nur. Yes, it wasn't entirely a crazy idea, but he seriously doubted it. Chaze sighed and glanced over his shoulder at the dead maid that had come to bring up his linen. Surely she had done nothing wrong, hell, she might even be married or have kids. Truth be told, Chaze did feel some regret in taking her life, but it wasn't enough to stop. He imagined he might feel something profound when he killed Liz. That would probably be about it. In the meantime.....
Chaze looked over at the small suitcase that he had purchased in the lobby of the hotel. It did the job just fine. Whoever it was that he had killed in the alley, the man had been loaded with dough. Chaze grinned to himself. He had the means now to get back to good ol' US of A. But what then? What could he possibly do when he confronted her? Chaze downed the shot and winced as the liquor burned his throat. Whatever was going to happen with him and Elizabeth would happen. But until then, he had a party to attend to. Chaze's lip twitched slightlyin the beginning of a smirk and he changed his left hand into a large white paw. How many innocents could he kill in a night? He would find out.)

(Wolf pushed open the door of his apartment room and sighed. As he walked in, he thought about the previous night. The sun had started to come up, its first rays of light shining into the room over the horizon. Wolf looked down at his blood dried hands. He had been running freely and looking for someone to kill. As he was doing so, he came across two thugs that had cornered a woman. Wolf hadn't hesitated when he saw that they meant to rape and kill the woman. He had jumped down from the roof he had been scaling and easily discarded of the two fools. But looking at the terrified woman, he saw her innocence and something had stopped him from killing her as well. Instead, without thinking he had extended a paw to her and pulled her to her feet. As he left her she had called something to him.)
"Thank you white ghost."
(Wolf had been infuriated at himself for not killing her. Infuriated at the world for moving on and forgetting him. But why he hadn't killed her was no mystery. She looked like Elizabeth.)
(Wolf walked into the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. He studied himself, a stranger staring back at him. And then a tear ran down his face, then another one, and suddenly he couldn't stop them. Wolf let his knees buckle and slid to the floor. He stayed there for hours and thought about all that had happened and all that might happen. And in his contemplating time, he wondered if it was still Nur that had changed him or if it were the miracle that had saved him. Wolf left for the airport the next day and started back to the states.)
