[Nightcat]

Liz teleported directly into her office and turned on her computer. It took only seconds to find the footage that she hoped she wouldn't find.

The scene on her screen was one of horror and carnage and in the middle was the one she once called her love. Chaze was in a rampage similar to the one that he had when they first fought, only this time it wasn't Smith controlling him. In fact, Liz doubted that anyone was controlling the man, which is what really frightened her.

After a moment of hearing the screams of the villagers, she heard the voice of the spokeswoman, "For Christ's sake, just back away slowly. It's killing them. We gotta go." It was quickly followed by Wolf's growl, "Go, no. I don't think you'll be going anywhere." The teleporter had to look away from screen as Chaze proceeded to kill the crew. She turned back to it as she heard the camera being jostled. As the man's face came into view, her heart broke once again and tears filled her blood eyes as he spoke directly to her, "Let the world burn, huh Elizabeth. Let it all burn."

Liz reached over and paused the video as she reached out to Jack one more time as well as Kitty, I need Jack and Kitty in my office now. This is of the highest security matter.

[Mindcontrol]

(Jack was already waiting outside the door for Liz. He knocked on the door before entering. Jack walked into the room and closed the door. He took one of the seats and looked at Liz's melancholy face. So it was true, Wolf really was back. He sat up straight and looked into her leader's eyes.)

Mindcontrol: I had a small vision I didn't know if it was real until know. What's your orders?

[Nightcat]

Liz sighed heavily and looked up at Jack, "I'm going to vait until Kitty gets in here. Ze two of you are going to need to vatch ze footage." The woman looked shocked and she kept looking back to the screen that still had the frozen image of Chaze's canine face on it.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty walked into the office knowing that Liz was expected her. As she closed the down, she heard Lockheed's growl. She turned and saw on the screen Wolf's face. Kitty took the other seat in front of Liz's desk as she turned her gaze back to her.

Shadowcat: As always, your instincts were right.

[Nightcat]

Liz shook her head, "Zis ist ze vone time I vanted to be wrong." She turned to her teammates, "He's coming here und he vants blood. I have a feeling zat he vants me dead as vell. I can handle him just as I have in ze past, but ze more people who are here, ze harder it vill be to stop him. Jack, I vant you to Avriletta und one ozer person to LA. I do not care who. Kitty... take Christina und two ozer people back to ze ozer mansion. Again, I do not care who. Who ever ist left ist going in ze danger room vhen he gets here. I vill send vord to both of you vhen it ist safe to come home."

The teleporter sighed and rubbed her temple with one finger. It was taking all of her self control to keep herself calm. This was very bad. Quickly she scanned the house and found that Ryan, Jade, and Chris were gone. She had a feeling as to why Chris had left again; she just hoped that he would be back this time. However, Ryan and Jade being gone might mean that they were just out of the house together. Again she hoped she would see them again.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty sighed when she heard Liz's orders. Yes, she would follow them, but she still felt that it could be done another way. Kitty looked at Liz.

Shadowcat: I know that you are more than capable of handling it yourself, and I understand that this is very personal to you. But are you sure that you want to handle him all by yourself? If worse-case scenerio happens, we won't be anywhere near to help.

[Mindcontrol]

(Jack placed his hand on his chin, thinking it over. This fight was something Liz had to do on her own. Jack Kitty would not be able to change her mind. In a way he felt the same as Liz, nothing would change his mind on his fight against Sara Jones. He removed his hand and looked at Liz.)

Mindcontrol: I will follow your orders Liz, but Kitty does have a point. You don't have to fight him alone. That one time you fought him near the lake, that battle changed you. It turned you into Apocalypse's slave. I never want to see you like that again. Will this fight change you?

[Nightcat]

Liz sighed softly, "I vant you guys as safe as possible. Zat ist vhy I am sending you away. Vorst case scenario ist zat I die. I need two people I trust more zan anyzing alive to keep zis place going." She turned to Jack, "As for zis fight changing me... ze damage as been done. Vhy do you zink I don't let people vatch my DR sessions. I enter a berserk vhen I fight to hard. Nur changed me permanently und I am terrified of zat change."

She got up and turned to face a picture of Charles Xavier that hung on the wall behind her desk. The picture could talk back to her, but she felt as though the man's eyes could comfort her in some way that she couldn't explain.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty looked up at Liz and followed her gaze to the picture of Professor Xavier. She thought about what he would do in this situation. But the answer was simple. If Xavier knew beforehand that danger was approaching, his number one priority would be to keep the students safe. Liz was just following in the footsteps of a true leader. Kitty nodded her head as she spoke.

Shadowcat: I understand, Liz. We'll prepare to leave first thing tomorrow. Would you like me to inform the others of the situation?

[Nightcat]

Liz shook her head, "Nein. Ze less zey know, ze better, especially Christina. She doesn't need to know zat somevone else has come back. She's already been shaken by Chris's return." She turned back to her teammates, "Tell ze people zat you are going vhere you are going because of personal missions und I requested that you take ozers vith you. Ve vill get zrough zis und all of us vill be alive at ze end. I just know we are."

[Mindcontrol]

(They will all come out alive and successful, like the many they have in times in the past. Jack lowered his head for a second, before looking back at Liz.)

Mindcontrol: With all due respect, but I wish to leave tonight. The sooner the better. Kitty you can take the X-jet, I'll take the mustang. It'll take longer, but at least Christina and the others won't question my mission.

[Nightcat]

Liz nodded, "Go ahead. Like I said zough, take another person vith you. I do not care who." The teleporter then turned to Kitty, "You said somezing about a new girl. Vhat is she like?"

[Shadowcat]

Kitty: Her name is Pavati Aysu. Christina was showing her the jet hanger right after you teleported out. She is a hydrokenetic, and she seems very observant and knowledgable. She seems to have heard of you for she asked for you, but she didn't know your name. I told her that I would bring her here to meet you after her tour.

[Nightcat]

Liz tapped her chin lightly. She had never met anyone of that name before and the only hydrokenetic she knew personally was Bobby and he wasn't even a real hydro. Her curiosity quickly won her over and she nodded, "Vould you mind interrupting ze tour to bring her up here? Ze sooner I speak vith her, ze better. I can take over ze tour later.

[Shadowcat]

Shadowcat: Okay, sure. While I'm at it, I can tell Christina how we'll be leaving soon.

Kitty stood from her chair and phased through Liz's floor to the subbasement. It was the quickest way afterall.
