Liz blinked for moment, then the tears came again. The coldness vanished from her eyes, "Save me... please. Ich liebe sie Chaze." She blinked and the coldness was back. She started to struggle against his hold.

(Wolf held her arms at her sides, but not without great difficulty. She was as strong as he was, if not stronger and it took every ounce of his strength and willpower to keep her arms locked away. Wolf barked at her, trying to reason with her. Trying desperately to see the coldness empty out of her crimson eyes.)
Wolf: It has to end here. You have to beat him. For your sake and my own. Damn it Liz, beat him!

Liz's struggles became more erratic. It was as though she had forgotten she could teleport. Beside her, her tail thrashed and wrapped around one of Wolf's arms. She locked eyes with him, "Let go of me! I'll kill you!! I'll kill you!!" Her screams started to raise in pitch, but tears started to flow again.

(Wolf held on for dear life, knowing that if he let her go, he would very easily be letting go of any chance to save his beloved. He shook his arm viciously to try to shake off Liz's tail. As he did, he clutched her to him even closer and got his arms around her. He hugged her, trapping her arms together and resting his head on her shoulder. He could feel her tears run down her face and fall against his fur. And although he was there to kill her, he finally realized why he had been awakened from his torment.)
Wolf: Beat him. Please. I'm begging you Elizabeth. Throw him out of your mind. You can do it. For me.

Liz's struggles started to lessen at the last statement and her screams of "I'll kill you" and "Let go of me" started to get softer, but the tears kept coming. Her eyes kept flashing back and forth between ice cold and terrified as she fought the dark man in her mind.
The tall figure stood over her, yelling at her at how worthless she was and how pathetic Chaze was. Whenever Nur came close, she would lash out at him with her swords and powers. Eventually, the man laughed and backed away, "This is not over yet Elizabeth. You will never be able to get ride of me!" With that, the man vanished from her mind and the girl went limp in Wolf's arms.
This tended to happen after her big fights, but Nur usually left of his own accord. This had been the first real time that Liz had fought back and this surprised the ancient mutant. He would have to go back to the very depths of her mind to see how he could take permanent control of her body.

(Wolf cradeled the woman in his arms and slowly transformed back into his pitiful human state. He slowly pulled away from Liz and fell exhausted at her side. His whole body ached and he wanted to cry himself, but no tears would come. Chaze reached over with his left hand and took Liz's.)
Chaze: It's you. It always has been. I can't rest in peace until he has fully been destroyed from your mind.
(Chaze leaned over and planted a soft kiss on Liz's furred cheek. He smiled at her and then slammed his head into the ground, knocking himself out just as the pain of his gashes started to grab hold.)

About an hour later, Liz opened her eyes to see Chaze's gaunt face in front of hers. She would have cried from the site, but she just couldn't. She sat up and saw the betas dead on the ground. She would have to bury them later. For now she placed a hand on Chaze's side and teleported them to the infirmary.
