Dilemma

Christina sat at her desk, toying with the medallion in her fingers. She was on the internet, looking up the coordinates that Sara gave her. After googling the coordinates, her answer came up.
Christina: Germany?!
How in the world would she get to Germany? Would she just take a commercial flight or somehow get someone to bring her there on the X-jet. Maybe she can have a "premonition" claiming that there was something there. Obviously if Pyschonaut was there, then there must be something there, maybe another Sovereign base. But it didn't hurt to have a back-up plan. She began looking up to see if she had enough money to buy a commercial flight ticket.

(Jack made his way quietly to the hallway where Christina's bedroom was located. He stopped outside her room and knocked on the door.)
Mindcontrol: Christina, it's Jack.

Christina jumped when she heard the knocking and Jack's voice. Instantly she was nervous. Did he pick up something in her thoughts? Although she was worried, she decided to answer him.
Christina: What is it?
Before Jack could respond, Christina began quickly exiting out of all the websites she had on her laptop that could prove suspicious to him.

Mindcontrol: I need to talk to you. We're concerned about something.
(Jack waited quietly for Christina to respond.)

Christina slammed her laptop shut as soon as she was done shutting it down. She then stood up from her desk and placed the medallion in her pocket. She walked over to open the door for Jack. She left it open for him to enter as she sat on her bed. She was still worried that he might be suspecting something, so she decided to let Jack just start talking first.
Christina: What's up?

(Jack waited patiently for the door to open. As he waited, Jack was looking at his feet, then around the hallway, and back at his feet. When she finally opened the door Jack looked up and smiled weakly.)
Mindcontrol: Hey Christina. We need to talk?

Christina tried to swallow the lump in her throat. But still she wanted to put on a brave face in front of Jack. She waved for him to come in.
Christina: Ok, what about?

Mindcontrol: Kitty was talking to Liz and this particular subject came up. We're worried about you. Liz has noticed that you've been really quiet lately.
(Jack locked into Christina's eyes, trying to see if there was a change in emotion as he talked. He walked into the room and closed the door behind him, before continuing.)
Mindcontrol: She believes something is up and not only that she can feel it. I can too. Is everything ok Christina?

Christina began to worry. The mansion was getting suspicious about her behavior. She didn't want her cover to be blown. She looked at her feet as she answered Jack.
Christina: Yes, I'm fine. Just still a little tired and exhausted. All those years of not really sleeping, I guess, have finally caught up with me.
Christina still avoided Jack's gaze. She mainly looked down and began to nervously play with her shoelaces.

(Jack made his way closer to Christina. He sat on the corner of the bed before looking at Christina suspiciously. The two stayed silent for a moment or two as Jack began thinking what Christina had just said. He wasn't buying it. Jack placed his hands neatly together before finally ending the awkward silence, and continuing with the awkward conversation.)
Mindcontrol: Christina, please, I am only here to help with anything that might be bothering you. You say you're fine, but I don't believe it. After I told you the secret about Liz and you're just.... fine?

Christina huffed and groaned, but was still relieved. Jack didn't seem to know about what was going on and assumed that her behavior was about...Him. Even just thinking about it again made Christina cringe in her stomach. Truth be told, Liz's secret did bother her some, and as always she didn't like talking about it. She was beginning to get aggravated, and some of her temper started to show.
Christina: What do you want me to say, Jack? That I'm scared, worried that Liz is still infected with the same evil essence that wanted me DEAD to survive? Or the fact that everytime I even think about it, the scar on my stomach starts to ache? Or how about, until just recently, the constant nightmares I always have about that Thing and my dad's ...?
She stopped. In her state, she would have spilled it; she just almost said "my dad's murder". Christina took a deep breath to calm herself back down before finally looking at Jack again.
Christina: Sorry.

(He looked at Christina with sympathetic eyes. As she was ranting on, Jack was regretting trying to open her painful wounds. Once she stopped, he immediately felt chills run down his spine. He could easily sense the emotion in Christina and in the room. He was about to reach for her shoulders so he could comfort her, but he decided against it. Giving Christina her personal space seemed like a good idea for now.)
Mindcontrol: It's ok. You honestly have the right to feel angry. In fact, I kind of like it. I think what you need to do is stop bottling up your emotions like this. You should let some of it out every now and then.

Christina nodded as Jack explained that she should let some of her emotions out. She began thinking about Graydon Creed and it would feel to unleash her emotions out on him.
Christina: Yeah, maybe you're right.
She looked back at Jack and noticed his comforting, yet considered eyes staring straight into hers. Feeling paranoid, Christina felt as if they were almost probing into her mind. Immediately, she shook the revengeful thoughts out of her mind and forced herself to calm down. She offered Jack a weak little smile before looking back down at her feet.

(When Jack saw Christina smile, he could tell he she was forcing it. However, he wasn't going to say anything about it. He returned the smile back at Christina. Then he got a wild idea in his head.)
Mindcontrol: You know, I have an idea. What do you say to a sparring session in the Danger Room?

Christina looked back at Jack. A confused look on her face met with the wild and crazy look on Jack's.
Christina: Say what?
