(A smog of smoke colored with intense blackness erupted in front of a gas station. As the smog began to clear, it was easy to spot a tall figure in the middle of it all. With some further observation, one could spot a pair of two small yellow, almost glowing like orbs amongst the darkness. The figure made a few steps forward. Count stepped out of the smog, the moonlight illuminating his entire figure. Traveling across the country by teleportation had actually made him a bit thirsty. Walking inside the gas station, he meet the eyes of the cashier. The man gave Count a strange look before returning to what he was watching on the TV. Count ignored him and went to grab a bottled of water. He returned, leaving some money on the counter, not really caring about his change. He opened the blue cap and began chugging the water down. Count was about to walk out the door when he heard what was on the screen. It was a news report about an attack on the Pentagon. He rose his eyebrow in curiosity, then turned to the man in the cashier.)
Count: What happened?
Man: There was a terrorist attack at the Pentagon a few hours ago. You haven't heard about this?
Count: No, no I haven't.
Man: You're kidding me.
Count: Any idea who's responsible?
Man: No, but they say mutants were that cause of this. It was possible that it was those Sovereign scum.
(Count's eyes widened up upon hearing the Sovereign's name. It was impossible for anyone who worked for him to commence such an attack when there were so few members left. It was just as impossible for Marcus to do it. He pondered on who could have done it. Count looked at the cashier with a serious look, saying nonchalantly.)
Count: Never heard of them...
Man: Have you been sleeping under a rock?
Count: No, but this has now caught my attention. I shall look into it further. After I make a short visit to some acquaintances.
(Count walked out of the store and toward the road. The more he walked toward the road, the more his body began to fade away until he was gone completely.)
