Unfortunately, things don't always turn out the way they're supposed to. About a year ago, En Sabah Nur came back to life and the Generation NeXt's leader, ECKS aka Chris Stanley, his girlfriend Starr, Magneto, and Wolverine all became his Horsemen, with Elizabeth van Sickle aka Nightcat as a servant that obeyed his ever wish. Because of this roll, her blue hair became black as night and her eyes turned blood red. Generation NeXt won the battle after a very long battle, but at a horrible cost. Liz was forced to kill the love of her life, Wolf aka Chaze Snipez, and the rest of the team killed the Four Horsemen.
With Liz set free, the team returned to the mansion, battered and bruised, with Nightcat as it's new leader. Its been several months since they won the battle and every one is still coping in their own ways.
