(Sara was back in her office in L.A. She had finished reading the files on John and Jade. She would have to deal with another psychic so she was already closing her mind. It would take the force of at least five prodigious psychics to enter the fortress called her mind. A woman rushes into Sara's office, an urgent look was on the woman's face.)

Winterfire: What is it?

Woman: You told me to inform you of Ms.Smith

Winterfire: And?

Woman: Sentinels..in the city..atacking her.. she's in danger.

(Sara quickly stands up and rushes out the door, she had to immediately. The meeting with The Brotherhood was in a matter of days and if Trask and Loyd weren't dead by then, the alliance will probably never happened. She opens the door, but doesn't step outside. She turns to the girl, her emotionless expression was on her face.)

Winterfire: What's your name again?

Rose: Rose..

Winterfire: Rose next time knock or else your fired and I don't mean figuratively, I'm I understood?

Rose: Explicitly...

(Sara didn't smile and she squinted her eyes darkly at the woman before leaving.)

(Jade runs into an alley, keeping her body against the wall she looks around closely from being seen. She watches as a car explodes as it is hit by one of the sentinel's laser beams. The sentinel spots Jade and locks on to her with the sensor in its eyes.)

Sentinel: Mutant DNA detected, Identified as Jade Smith, primary objective: destroy mutant.

(Jade runs in the opposite direction, she switches into her super strength. She jumps high into the air and grabs the ledge of the building. The sentinel fires two missiles from the rocket launcher on his back at Jade.)

Jade: Oh s#%t!

(She pulls herself up and runs across the building, the two missiles were right behind her. She jumps down into another alley as the two missiles fly pass her and crash into a building. She sits on the ground thinking it couldn't get any worse, her muscle mass was beginning to decrease.)

Jade: Not now.

(It was starting to get hopeless for her. She had managed to destroy one sentinel, one was around the corner, but she had no idea where the third one was located. She leaned against the wall and sled down to the ground. She was too weak at the moment to use her powers. She looked at the end of the alley and there stood the third sentinel. She could barely fight, it was over. "You got your wish John." she thought. The mutant killing machine began to walk slowly toward her. Its laser eyes aimed for her, Jade closed her eyes and bam! She kept closing her eyes until she realized that she was still alive. She looked at the sentinel, its head was gone. She turned to the opposite direction and there stood Sara with her two deadly pointing at the defeated robot, smoke was coming out of her fingers. Jaded looked at Sara, she was shocked that someone had just saved her.)

Jade: Thanks but who are you

Winterfire: I have been looking for you Jade Smith. Quickly we have to go!

Jade: Wait, how do you know my name?

Winterfire: I'll explain everything later, but right now we have to go!

(Sara helps Jade stand up, when the second sentinel appeared in the opposite direction of the third. Both ran away from the sentinel. When Sara got far away enough from it, she spins her arms and makes a blue ring of fire. She pushes her arms forward and the ring becomes a tunnel of blue fire. The sentinel is consumed by the flames. Its armor melts in the intense heat of the fire, moments later it explodes. Sara runs and catches up with Jade. The psychic couldn't believe what had just happened.)

Jade: Who are you?

Winterfire: My name is Cate Archer.

(Sara and Jade were sitting on crates an a warehouse not far from the sentinels had attacked. Jade had a many questions, but couldn't find herself to say any, just having survived to sentinel's attack.)

Jade: OK first off, how do you know my name?

Winterfire: I work for a mutant agency, I can't tell you what we're called because let's just say you don't need to know. All I can say is that we are every where. Our purpose is to restore the delicate balance of the mutant race. Right now there are two people who are threating this balance. One is Bolivar Trask and the other is John Loyd. I have been given an assignment to stop these men.

Jade: The Sentinel project, but that still doesn't answer my question, how do you know my name?

Winterfire: We found a file on you and that you are connected to Loyd. We don't know the location of Mr.Loyd. So I was hoping to find you and therefore telling me where he is?

(This was all a little too much for Jade, she didn't really know how much of it was true or if it was true at all. However, she knew that Trask and Loyd had to be stopped, for the sake of the mutant race. She stands up and looks at Sara.)

Jade: Wait, I thank you Cate for saving my life, but I will only tell you where he is on one condition. I want to help you. The Sentinel project must be destroyed and I know that I have to be a part of its destruction. So what do you say, Partners?

(Jade extends her hand to Sara. She looked at her hand for a second, every time she lost a partner she always had a new one shortly after. If she teams up Jade this would be the third one. She grabs her hand and shakes it. "If only she knew." Sara thought.)

Winterfire: Partners.

(Winterfire and Jade exited the warehouse and headed for Sara's car. Sara opened the door and took the wheel, while Jade sat in the passenger seat. Sara started the car and drove off to LAX. It was a twenty minute drive when they finally reached the airport. She drove the car to the runway.When she reached her private plane, she got out and yelled an order to one of her followers. He opened the back door of the plane and Sara droved the car into the plane. Sara got out and looked at Jade.)

Winterfire: Hope you like flying.

(Sara gave an order to the pilot, to start the plane. He nodded and ran to the cockpit, while the minion closed the back door of the plane. Sara began to walk toward a seat before turning to Jade.)

Winterfire: You coming?
