Pavati looked back at Jack once more and nodded. She would have to call her father and tell him later that she was more like him than they thought. However this was one similarity that neither of them wanted to share. She looked back to Kitty, "I am sorry. I promise to explain everything once everything passes."

Mindcontrol: Alright, you two should probably be going now.
(Jack walked over while limping to the hole in the ground. He looked down and called out to Veronica in a tired tone of voice.)
Mindcontrol: Veronica, my teammates need to get to the police headquarters. Its an emergency. Can you get them there fast?
(Veronica looked up at Jack and without question, she agreed. She went into the hallway. There she waited for Kitty and Pavati.)

Shadowcat: It's all right. You'll be fine.
Kitty continued to walk back downstairs with Pavati. As they came into the hallway, Kitty saw a woman dressed in a police attire. As they approached, the police officer acknowledged the two of them to follow her. As Kitty and Pavati continued to follow her, Kitty spoke.
Shadowcat: Veronica, I presume. Kitty Pryde, also known as Shadowcat.
Kitty held her hand out for the woman to shake.

(Veronica extended her hand toward Kitty and shook it.)
Com. Oros: Glad to meet you. I'm Veronica Oros.
(She let go and walked deeper into the hallway. She stopped upon an elevator. She pressed the button and the door opened. Her officers managed to get it operational again. She entered the elevator and waited for the two.)
Com. Oros: So what's the emergency that Jack was talking about?

Pavati looked to the Commissioner, her pupils wide with fear, "I'm the emergency. I need to get to a containment cell and fast. I don't want to hurt anyone."

(When Pavati said this, Veronica wanted to know more, but now wasn't the time. Once they were inside the elevator, Veronica pressed the button that would take them to the ground floor. The elevator started going down, the lights inside were dimly lit. Once the doors opened, the three stepped out. The scene around them was of police officers taking hand cuffed Sovereign agents out of the building. Men in white coats were dragging sacks with dead bodies inside them. Veronica lead Kitty and Pavati outside. Once there, she went over to her car. She turned to Kitty.)
Com Oros: Take Jack's red Mustang. Its over there.
(She pointed to the red car.)
Com. Oros: I'm going to drive my car with the sirens on. Follow me and we'll be there in no time.

Pavati licked her lips at the sight of the bodies, but if it was out of hunger or nervousness, she couldn't tell herself. She turned to Kitty, "I'm so sorry." She then lowered her head and started to walk over to Mustang.

"Hmm... I guess so." Keiy said. He closed his eyes and tried to relax, but Marcus's face popped up. At first it was him, young and carefree, then it changed into a face full of malice and hate. Keiy instinctively flinched. <That face will live in my nightmares for a long time.>

Kitty noticed the look on Pavati's face as the bodies passed by. Kitty was still confused as to the real truth, but various thoughts popped in her head.
Shadowcat: It's alright. We'll get you anything you may need.
Kitty continued walking with Pavati towards the mustang when she saw the X-jet and remembered Christina and Keiy.
Shadowcat: Oh, I'll be right back. I need to check on Christina and Keiy really quick.
Kitty ran up the ramp to the X-jet and saw Keiy and Christina sitting around and talking.
Shadowcat: Hey, how are you guys doing? Keiy, you feeling any better?

(Jack made his way down to Sara's office. He looked around, Two officers had detained Sara and were already taking her to the working elevator. He also noticed that the three mutants that had helped him were still there. He smiled, placed his hands together and bowed in gratitude.)
Mindcontrol: Thank you all for your help. Now that we are done here, we can formerly introduce ourselves. My name is Jack Ortiz, but I go by the codename Mindcontrol.
(He looked at the woman and assumed that she was the leader. Jack extended his hand to her.)

Shadowcat: Yes actually. I have to go take care of Pavati, but I don't want to leave Jack while he's still recovering. The situation is fully under control now so could you two go and stay with Jack?
Christina: Sure, yeah. We could go help with that.
Shadowcat: Great. I'll come back later.
Kitty left the X-jet and rejoined Pavati at the mustang. She got in, started the engine, and began to follow Com Oros to the station.
Shadowcat: How are you holding up?

Pavati shifted uncomfortably in her seat, "Not good I'm afraid. I hope we get there in time." She looked down at the clock and saw it was 11:50 pm. Damn, she thought, ten minutes. I really hope we make it. I'm going to kill Dad.

Everything was now calm. The bad guys were being put away and the good guys won the battle. A great way to start the day. The trio stayed in the office waiting for everyone to leave. It wouldn't look good having 3 unknown people coming out. Especially one looking like a updated sentinel. Jade stay seated on the ground. She was exhausted both mentally and physically. She never had to use her powers the way she did today.
A couple of minutes passed and and someone walked into the office. The telekinetic that had helped Boom and Jade in there fight. Jade struggled to stand up, but managed with the help of Boom.
Jade: "I'm Jade, this is Boom, and thats Data." She said only giving the other two's code name. She figured if she wanted them to want mindcontrol to know their real name they would speak up.
