The Rise and Fall of Sara Jones

[Shadowcat]

Kitty followed the directions from the police station to the Sovereigns' building. As she drove up in the mustang, she saw everyone located near the entrance. She walked towards the group and addressed Jack.

Shadowcat: The commissioner is going to keep Pavati under supervision until she is well again. I told her to keep in contact with us if there are any changes with her.

[Mindcontrol]

(Jack looked down when he heard the news. He had promised to Liz that she would be safe. But he knew that whatever her condition was, it would be too dangerous to transport her back to the mansion. He looked back at Sara. It was dangerous enough with her. Jack turned back to Kitty.)

Mindcontrol: She's in good hands. Let's go home.

[Amy, Ave., Tiff., Stiff.]

(During this time, Avriletta was helping officers with the detained mutants into cars and trucks. Once she was done, she went back to her team. She walked over to Jack.)

Avriletta: Are we done here Jackie?

Mindcontrol: Yeah. Oh! I forgot to introduce to you to Jade, Boom and Data. They helped us defeat the Sovereigns.

[M_a_K]

Keiy remained silent though the conversation. He was barely comfortable around Christina and Tiffany, but in front of this new crowd he was extreamily quiet. He studied Winterfire for a bit. He looked into her eyes and saw a chaos of flames and hatred in her red-brown eyes. He instinctivly flinched. He wispered to Christina,"Is that Her?"

[Oracle]

Christina still had her fists clenched and her mouth pressed into a firm line as she crossed her arms and whispered back to Keiy all the while staring at Sara in pure loathing.

Christina: Yeah, that's her.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty nodded towards the three and then announce to the group present.

Shadowcat: We should head back to the mansion. It's really late and we should get back to Liz. We have special matters to take care.

Kitty looked towards Sara during that last comment before she headed towards the X-Jet.

[Mindcontrol]

(Before following Kitty to the X-jet, Jack turned to Avriletta.)

Mindcontrol: Ave., you're in charge of Sara. Make sure she doesn't do anything that might endanger any of us while in the jet.

Avriletta: You can count on me.

(Avriletta walked over to Sara and stood behind her. She grabbed Sara's hands, tight enough so that the poison on her nails would not penetrate Sara's skin.)

Avriletta: Start walking.

(The three of them began following Kitty to the jet. Jack stopped and turned over to the three mutants. He smiled and nodded, as a signal for them to follow him.)

[M_a_K]

Keiy shuffled behind everyone, dragging his feet and rearranging his earth cast.<Its going to take weeks for these holes to heal up.> He thought as he made openings for his wings and his tail. He let them out to keep himself balanced.

[Oracle]

Christina kept her distance away from Winterfire as she followed the others back to the jet.

[Shadowcat]

Kitty entered the jet and was greeted by her loyal dragon wagging his tail while sitting on the pilot's chair. She walked over and stroked his head before beginning to warm up the engines for take-off. Behind her Jack and Avriletta escorting Winterfire entered the jet. Lockheed coiled and snared when he saw the other fire-breather.

Shadowcat: Lockheed, down.

The small dragon snorted smoke from his nostrils as he turned his back to Sara. Kitty reached over to continuing stroking Lockheed to calm him down as she continued waiting on the engines to warm and the additional passengers to board.

[Count/Winterfire]

(Sara noticed how agitated Lockheed was.)

Winterfire: Its nice seeing the Barney from hell again.

Mindcontrol: Just ignore her boy.

(Sara smiled to herself, as Avriletta forced Sara into a seat. She also attached Sara's seat belt. Avriletta sat down right next to her and she put on her seat belt. The two looked at each other for a second and they immediately realized how awkward it was for the two to be seating together. Sara violently looked away from the current girlfriend and Avriletta turned away angrily from the Ex. Jack went to the front of the cockpit and took his usual seat. He put the seat belt on. Jack leaned back comfortably on the chair and then he closed his eyes.)

[Oracle]

Christina boarded the jet and saw the tense situation. Normally, Christina would sit right behind Kitty during any other flight. But with Avriletta wanting to sit by Jack and having to keep an eye on Winterfire, they were up front. Christina especially did not want to sit next to Sara the entire flight back to the mansion so Christina slouched in one of the seats in the very back. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes, hoping to just play off that she was tired when really she was as far away from sleep than what was usually common for her.

[M_a_K]

Keiy walked onto the jet and found a seat. He began to sit down, sat and steped on his tail. "Ouch!" He yelped. He put away his tail and his wings and sat down again. <Dang things are a liability issue...>

[Mindcontrol]

(Jack was ready to take a short nap when the sudden "ouch" startled him. He turned around and shook his head at Keiy. Jack then looked around and saw that Jade Smith and her group took their seats next to one another on the right side of the X-jet. They stayed away from everyone else. Once everyone was seated and accounted for, Jack turned to Kitty.)

Mindcontrol: Are you ready for take off?

[Shadowcat]

Shadowcat: Yep. Everybody's buckled up. We should contact Liz and let her know we're returning.

Kitty strapped herself in the seat and took the controls of the jet to bring them back to the mansion.
